I'm pretty sure half or more of the questions that are on the site right now are those types of questions. It's a way to farm easy points, and it clogs the place up.

As you can see here (I can't show the entire frong page) quite a large majority of recent posts are this.

I have some suggestions, though.

  • Either delete them all and never post them every again
  • Put them all into one or two big threads.

Ok I kinda agree
They aren't bad questions, and I really don't think they should all be put on one thread, but the problem is that they've been all asked back to back by the same people. There was a similar issue with LC moveset threads a while ago. I really think that they just need to be more spaced out.
Like one on sunday one on next week saturday etc
I think putting them in 1 huge thread would be a problem cuz the page would be jumbled up way too much
i don't think that they should be downvoted. also, i believe that ~Obstagoon-Marnie~ actually asked Fizz's permission on his/her wall, and they (i think) said it was fine, as it didn't nessecarily break any rules. i guess you could kinda (kinda) compare themto moveset questions, in the sense that it is more or less the same thing but with a different pokemon (msqs), and and regions (gym leader questions).

I do, however, agree with you that they should be in some sort of order. well, 1) They can be added to the Database in the page you can see the gym leader movesets, with a link as to where you can find them, 2) forget the links and just use the questions to update the database pages themselves, and 3) maybe add a collective tag? such as "msq" and "igtq", maybe we could add a new tag like "glmq" or "glq", being Gym Leader (Moveset) Questions.

hope this helped a bit! :D
and also do you notice how it is the same two users asking the questions each time...?
I thought Obstagoon would do them all one by one, maybe not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Like HT said, I don't think they are a problem in themselves. I never added movesets to our gym leader pages on PokemonDb, so they are useful to have on Pokebase. If we can keep them to 2 or 3 max per day, that will stop them clogging up the site (this goes for any group of very similarly "themed" questions).
