My idea is for a thread to be started for questions that are often considered trivial. Such questions are often asked yet often disliked. I thought of a basic idea to compromise with them and I'd like to see what everyone's thoughts are.
A thread on Pokebase for these questions is started. Users with trivial questions that don't deserve their own post will comment on the "question" post of the thread with their question in a sentence, plus any details. Then, their question will be edited into the primary post to form a list of unanswered questions.
Then, users will post answers quoting the question they are replying to:

I can think of three main advantages for this system:
1. Users do not stand to gain anything from spam-asking difficult and pointless questions. Since questions are commented, they won't get any points from upvotes or selecting a Best Answer. This makes it more likely that people are actually interested in the answer to their trivia question and aren't just in it for votes.
2. Trivial questions do not clog up the unanswered page. Lots of people are tired of seeing meaningless questions that stick around and take up space. With one thread, they stay out of the way.
3. Users can still ask trivia questions non-disruptively if they want to. Clearly if there's so many that it's an issue, there's people who really enjoy asking these questions. This method gives them a way to ask such questions without bothering people who don't like them.
I can also think of a few disadvantages:
- Ambiguity over what constitutes a trivial, "Gamefreak logic," or pointless question
- Possibly tedious to moderate
- Unorthodox format
