Popup scams appearing on PokemonDB

Question

So I have noticed that when I am using this site recently, occasionally it will take me to a not secure website. The website itself is saying Google said you won a Netflix three year subscription, and other things. So I am curious if you are aware of this, and if other people have been getting it.

OP is now unable to use the website due to redirects. They DMed me the screenshots I added.
For those looking on, the problem is almost certainly caused by adware.

Really sorry this is happening. Also had another report on Twitter with the same thing.

How are you getting to the site - are you already on here and then open another page, or is this only when coming from Google?
Do you remember which page specifically it was? And what device were you using?

I was using an IPad when this happens. I use Safari as my browser, so not just Google. Iirc it can appear on any page

I cleared my website data and it’s not popping up anymore, though that may be simple unrelated correlation and I’ve been lucky
