This is confusing...

Question

I've seen a lot of RMT questions nowadays that saw something like "Please only J98, trachy, or DT answer". Should this be allowed, because it's not giving other people a chance to answer..

No, you shouldn't say "only these people to answer", that's elitism and scares off other members. If someone posts a really bad answer then just vote it down and comment.

And to all answerers: please remember to post reasoning for your RMT answers. Don't just say stuff like "use Swampert instead of Milotic", say why one is better than the other.

They technically have the most background of competitive knowledge to answer the questions. people just prefer them to answer I guess..

Yes they have the most knowledge, but people are saying that because they want someone they can depend on!
They just want a good answer, and they know those users can give it to them!

I personally don't think it should be allowed. If that were the case, those users alone would be asked for all the time, which would create a huge burden on them; and of course not allowing any other user a chance to answer.

It's not because people hate the other people, it's because there have been a lot of nooby answers around lately. Just let it motivate you to work even harder at making great teams, and maybe people will let you answer.
