I think questions that ask "Is ____ viable in playthroughs?" Or "Is ____ good enough to defeat ____ in playthroughs?" should not be allowed under Rule 1.4

Let's be real here, you can defeat just about any boss or character in Pokemon with a fair team. We often get questions on this site asking if the poster's Pokemon is "good enough" to be usable in a playthrough, and in the large majority of the time, nearly any Pokemon is fine in any case as long as it's at a reasonable level.

So I believe that questions asking about these kinds of situations shouldn't be allowed. It's hard to get a clear and correct answer to most of these questions, and I believe that the answer to nearly all of them are relatively the same.

The format for the first sentence is messed up and I can't figure out how to fix it.
I think questions these questions are fine as long as they invite you to compare what you could use instead. For example, I think the answer to https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/419155/ is clearly no, because you can use any other Normal-type and it will be better. A helpful answer would name the best one or two.
Of course you can level up Meowth and win that way. We're being extremely unhelpful if we give that answer (and I think you underestimate the difficulty of some Pokemon games, particularly with set mode + no bag items).
I agree with what you say, although I don't think when people use "playthroughs" in their question, they are referring to a challenge run, like using set mode or no items. There are names for different runs like that. But I think what you said is fair.
