I would like to start saying I love this site for Pokemon information. What I like about this site is how it quickly provides game-relevant information, raw statistics, and strictly necessary details without the usual wikipedia bloat. It's straight-forward, clear, and factual; which is what makes this site unique and worth using over a dozen other options.

At some point, I noticed popular Pokemon have been given descriptions right at the beginning of their page. Charizard, for instance. Some of it is frankly really not needed at all and what I would classify as bloat. I think it's also feels like taking an easy route rather than giving things their own section. For reference, here's the Charizard paragraph:

Charizard is a Fire/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation 1.

On all pages. Always relevant information.

Charizard is a large dragon-like Pokémon, mainly orange in color. It has two large wings, the underside of which are turquoise. Like Charmander and Charmeleon, it has a flame at the end of its tail.

Why do I need to know that charizard is orange with two wings, exactly?

The design of Charizard appears to draw inspiration from dragons of European folklore, with its large wings, horned head, and fiery breath.

I don't think this is needed on this site.

Charizard is notable for being the final evolution stage of one of the original starter Pokémon, along with Venusaur and Blastoise. Although it looks like a dragon, it doesn't have the Dragon typing. However it has two Mega Evolutions, available in Generation 6 games and Pokémon Go, one of which replaces its Flying type with Dragon.

Explaining what is already clear by simply using the site. There is already a very nice info graph showing evolution lines, and clear tabs to show it has Mega Evolution.

Charizard also has a Gigantamax form available in Pokémon Sword/Shield, with an exclusive G-Max move, G-Max Wildfire.

This is actually very good information, but should have it's own tab like the Mega Evolution tabs.

I would much rather just prefer this:

Charizard is a Fire/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation 1.
Charizard is part of a [Starter Pokemon] evolution line. <--(link to a list of all starters. Useful.)
This Pokemon has exclusive moves: [Moves here].

This is clear, relevant, and to the point.

Improvement:
1: Give Gigantamax Charizard it's own section. This feels long overdue.
2: Consider giving the Evolution section it's own splits for megas and gigantamax.

Next - and this is kinda more what made me make this post - let's talk about Lucario.

Lucario is a bipedal canine-like Pokémon. It is blue and black in color with red eyes. It has round spikes protruding from the back of each forepaw and a third on its chest

Again, not really needed. But here's my main issue:

[...] as well as two pairs of 'aura sensors' that are appendages hanging down from the back of its head. [...] Lucario is based on the mythical creature Anubis, the jackal-headed god associated with mummification and the afterlife in ancient Egyptian religion.

This is apocryphal; this is unsourced and unverifiable information and always has been. This notion comes from Bulbapedia. I will remind that wikipedias are not sources themselves, and are only as good as the sources provided with the information. Bulbapedia does not have a source for this claim of origin. Wikipedia has been basically constantly reverting people parroting these claims of origin because they take sourcing a lot more seriously.

Same thing with the aura sensor thing. I personally use that head canon myself, but it's likely they lift when using aura simply because it's a radiating force. Either way that's just guesswork. For that reason, it shouldn't be listed at all, and certainly not as fact.

"What about that one skin in Unite?" Yes, Lucario does have an egyption themed skin in Unite. It was the 4th skin added, with the first being an astronaut. There's also a sea captain and what seems to be robin hood. There's a lot of random cultural skins in Unite. Needless to say, it's no confirmation. But that's sorta irrelevant to mention- I just know people are so used to hearing this that me saying it's never been official might make some argumentative. (Much like how people often don't realize Lucario doesn't have claws, it's mouth is under its nose, not like a dog, and it's hands don't have pads.)

The point is: please only use things you can officially source. Keep the site reliable, game-centric, and clear. I'm not looking for a wiki experience. That's been done to death. I'm looking for easily accessible information with simple UI.

This Pokemon is totally the best, like no one ever was. The real test was to catch it, as it has one of the lowest/highest/most medium catch rates in the game. But what's the cause?

Drapion is famously one of the original 800 Pokemon from the first 20 years of the franchise when Pokemon was awesome.

Drapion is based on some kind of a mammal, or a reptile, lizard, bird, plant, frozen dairy product, or in some circumstances an inanimate object possessed by a ghost.
I definitely agree with this. I think what bugs me the most about it, is that it creates a wall of text at the top of the page that moves the very basic information you may want to see down further. It's only on certain Pokemon, too, it seems to be somewhat random and some pages aren't uniform with others.
Also, a lot of the information also seems to be borrowed from the Pokedex entries, which, if you want it, is not too far down the page. It doesn't need to be there twice.
Here are PM's thoughts/intentions for this from over ten years ago if anyone's interested: https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/34375
