Nuzlockes are a form of emotional torture that is popular in the Pokemon community for some god forsaken reason. Why do people find enjoyment in watching a Pokemon faint, never to be used in gameplay again? Because of the nature of nuzlockes, people who engage in them develop a strong bond with the Pokemon they obtain, and understandably they get emotional when they realise they're gonna die and they have to release it. It's similar to watching your child grow and becoming more independent; parents obviously get emotional from that. Therefore, nuzlockes is a form of emotional torture that torments the person doing it.

This also stems from my personal experience where I did a nuzlocke on Pokemon Y and my level 7 Bunnelby died against the level 50 Yveltal. I was for a loss of words. I've had that Bunnelby for four minutes by that point and we won one battle together. We were close. And nuzlocke rules took him away from me. And so, I had to release the Bunnelby with trembling hands, and I put down my 3DS and vowed to take Nuzlockes down.

Why should Pokemon Database host such a heart wrenching matter? Why should PDB even remotely promote a form of emotional torment? I see no other way of salvaging this 'fun topic'. It has got to go.

I also despise nuzlockes. It makes me sad when my Pokémon dies…
On the contrary. I vote we enforce ALL discussion to be about Nuzlokes!!!
