Hey all.
Me and a buddy of mine have agreed to make (breed, EV train, etc) a team in pokemon X and Y. I have decided on making a volturn/volt-turn team. So I have been experimenting on showdown for a while and have come up with this.
Greninja @ LifeOrb
Ability: Protean
EVs: Max SAtk and Spd
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- U-Turn
My lead. I have tried other moves, like Hydro Pump, Dark Pulse, Extrasensory, etc. This set works the best. U-Turn for obvious reasons.
Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician ---> Technician
EVs: Max Atk and Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- U-Turn
Bullet Punch is the only attack, yes. Swords Dance has proven to be better than another attack. Roost for healing and U-Turn for switching/momentum. (Duh)
Rotom-Wash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: Max SDef and SAtk
Modest Nature
- Trick
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
Man, nothing is funnier than Tricking a Blissey or a Quagsire or some other wall......its hilarious :D Hydro Pump for obvious STAB and Volt Switch for......yeah you get the point.

Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: Max Speed and SAtk
Modest Nature
- Flamethrower
- Draco Meteor
- Air Slash
- U-Turn
I love it when Ferrothorn or Scizor sets up a Substitue and Noivern is all like "Pssh, who cares" FLAMETHROWER POWWERR. Anyway, this guy is awesome. Draco Meteor is so strong......and, of course, U-Turn.
Here's the problem. I cannot find two other pokemon that really fit in and do their job really well. I have tried Hydregion, Gliscor, Forretress, Meinshao, Hawlucha, Magnezone, ....and more. So, my question is, what should I put in those two remaining slots?
Oh, and rate my team too, please.
