  • I don't think Lucario fits on this team. There are much stronger breakers available that don't overlap with Excadrill and Keldeo. If you want a breaker with priority that can kill Lati, etc. then you should try Weavile.
  • If you keep Lucario, replace Shadow Claw with Crunch.
  • If you use Weavile, then HP Ice isn't necessary on Thundurus. Use Grass Knot to hit bulky waters and grounds like Hippowdon, Swampert, Gastrodon, and Quagsire. These can threaten your Haxorus sweep by living an attack and using Scald or Whirlwind.
  • Air Slash hits nothing that you can't already hit with ZardY. Use Roost instead.
  • SD Excadrill is tricky outside of sand because it is very easy to outspeed. If you want to sweep with Haxorus, then you should should use Excadrill as a fairy pivot. You can also use Excadrill to set rocks. The bulky spinner set on Smogon works.
  • Experiment with Nasty Plot over Focus Blast on Thundurus. Your team has multiple other ways to hit Ferrothorn, etc. and I'm cognisant that removing SD on Excadrill makes the team one-dimensional if you get a bad matchup for Haxorus. (Speaking of which, maybe experiment with Taunt > Poison Jab on Haxorus as well, to make its matchup against defensive teams better. Especially if you forego Lum Berry.)
  • If you use Weavile, then Icy Wind is less needed. I think this especially applies when you're on Scarf because the attack is really weak without the Specs boost. I recommend HP Electric to hit Gyarados. Gyarados is scary for offence teams like yours because it can debuff your sweeper and then flip the game quickly with Dragon Dance. Currently your best defence is Twave, which does not reliably stop Gyarados from killing Thundurus and potentially more.
  • Use Timid on Keldeo. You need it for CharX, Victini, Hydreigon, Volcarona, etc. at +1.

@Fizz, massive thank you for the in depth suggestions. I have actually applied many of them and it turns out extremely great (namely, replacing Lucario with Weavile, Thundurus with Nasty Plot, Bulky spinner Exca with SR instead of Toxic, HP Elec on Keldeo).

Tho a few things that I have decided to keep are:
- Air Slash on Zard Y, which I still find useful against Hawlucha & other Fighting mons, Mega Saur, and Volcarona
- I have decided to use HP Fire on Thundurus instead of Grass Knot. People tend to send out steel types when I am using it.
- Taunt on Hax will need some more testing.
HP [Fire] is usually outclassed by other options on Thundurus, as Fizz said you already have loads of ways to deal with Steel-types (Keldeo, Charizard-Mega-Y) and you can double to them if you expect a Steel-type switchin.
No problem, glad it helped. I want to add onto the above some calcs re Air Slash:
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Volcarona in Sun: 301-355 (96.7 - 114.1%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Air Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Volcarona: 272-324 (87.4 - 104.1%) -- 25% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Hawlucha in Sun: 456-537 (153.5 - 180.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Air Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Hawlucha: 416-492 (140 - 165.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 224 HP / 0 SpD Thick Fat Venusaur-Mega in Sun: 270-318 (75.6 - 89%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Air Slash vs. 224 HP / 0 SpD Venusaur-Mega: 246-290 (68.9 - 81.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Maybe the attack is reliable, but Solar Beam will be good enough if you just need a move that will hit, and Roost is a move you will absolutely 100% get value from.
Also added another point to the answer that I missed the first time which is actually pretty important.
The bulky Excadrill set isn't really fitting this team, to be frank. Bulky Excadrill is much more of a Bulky Offense and Balance Pokémon, and has some issues while trying for a slot on offensive teams. Typically, Choice Scarf is a much better set on offense, and especially with this team as it synergises well with Charizard-Mega-Y and Keldeo, but dual Scarf seems reluctant (I *think* ABR did fantastically with Excadrill + Keldeo Dual Scarf in some SPL? I don't exactly remember which one but it was used sometime and was heat, but isn't really great now). Latios would be a much better option as a hazard control Pokémon, especially when you don't have hazards of your own. It also synergises exceedingly well with Weavile and Keldeo, granting the former with hazard removal and the ability to beat Clefable (eventually, late-game), and Weavile + Keldeo can slowly chip Latios' checks, making Life Orb Latios pretty threatening late-game. Also I don't know how the ladder is right now, but I don't really think that the trend has changed much, it's pretty much dead with bad teams around and every second person running some weird offense with Cobalion and all.
