^This needs a solid chunk of editing. It's not flag-worthy, as the only ability Ninetales could have in Gen 3 was Flash Fire.

"I'm not the best at competitive gameplay but here is what I think would make a good move set.
Scary face (to counter its horrendous speed)
Psychic (for coverage)
Poison Jab or Cross Poison (Cross poison preferred because it's a physical attacker and also for STAB)
Megahorn or Bug Bite (Bug Bite is a lvl 1 move so maybe go to the move reminder. Megahorn is only if you're comfortable with the low accuracy. Also it's an egg move.)
