Maybe not just recent posts, actually. Anybody who is still active would probably see to suggestions for their sets (or requests to add detail). I'd prioritise posts like that, since the writer might respond and then the post won't get removed.

Obviously, only the most recent activity on each thread will appear in activity lists; but other than that, there's no way to avoid clogging the activity list.
Adding missing details to posts is a nice thing to do, and I'd encourage it especially if you come across recent posts that are missing things. But in general, it won't stop us from removing the answers themselves for being incomplete.
