Mine holds the Macho Brace. It knows:

Rapid Spin: Gets rid of entry hazards, something I don't use but that I sometimes allow my foes to be able to use.
Gyro Ball: Forretress has incredibly low Speed (mine has 76), especially with Macho Brace. It also has high accuracy and STAB, and can deal with Rock and Ice types.
Earthquake: Is Earthquake.
Zap Cannon: High power, always paralyzes when it hits, deals with Water and Flying types.

If you want a setup Pokemon, this is the way to go:

@Leftovers

Toxic spikes: Good for when Pokemon switch in.
Spikes/ stealth rock: Again, good for when they switch a Pokemon in.
Rock tomb: To deal with fire types, (hmmmmm, maybe charizards?)
Rapid spin: Not really a damaging move, I use it personally to get rid of hazards such as stealth rock, sticky web, ect.

Impish nature
252 HP EV's
252 Def EV's
4 Sp. Def EV's

Trait: Sturdy

Mixed 'Wall' with Entry Hazards

Forretress (M/F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def

  • Stealth Rock
  • Toxic Spikes
  • Spikes
  • Rapid Spin

Simple yet effective Hazard Setup, go in, clear any Hazard Entries with Rapid Spin, throw a Stealth Rock and a Toxic Spikes (Order doesn't mather) then start laying down Spikes, after three turns you can use him to Stall a little, if the enemy Defogs/RS you, you kill it (with a Wallbreaker, Forretress won't kill anything with his moves directly lol) and set up hazards again. Leftovers is there to sustain you up, Sturdy to be able to put down atleast one Entry Hazard if they somehow manage to deal that much damage to you.

Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Counter
- Light Screen

Pretty self-explanatory. You got a few options: Light Screen increases your likelihood to survive against a Fire type move. Counter (sure, it requires prediction, but I 2HKO'ed a Metagross with it)
Plus, toxic and spikes for support.
I prefer a Lum Berry to Leftovers, but both work fine.

Foretress (Stall and Entry Hazard Set)
Item: Leftover
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Relaxed (+Def -Speed)
IVs: 5x31 and 0 speed
EVs: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4 Sp.Def
Moveset:
-Gyro ball (STAB, main damage)
-Rapid spin (Help you clear hazards on your side of the field)
-Stealth rock (Entry hazard support)
-Volt switch (Let you switch in another Pokemon with out letting it lose Hp since Forretress will most likely go last)
This is the bes moveset I know for Foretress.
