It is symmetrical in all other ways...but the scratches are not shown...

Though this probably doesn't matter too much, Skarmory is symmetrical. It has nowhere where his body parts are bigger on one side than another, and the colors match. Yes basically.

Yes it would unless the tail is facing off to the side then the circular cut-out wont let it be symmetrical.
