PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

So I decided I was going to breed a certain nature and ability onto a Pokemon. I got the right nature but not the right ability. I then decided to use the newly hatched Pokemon to get the right ability. I read here that if you give an everstone to a Pokemon while breeding that there is a 100% chance for both male and female that the baby would have the same nature as the parent. So I gave my Pokemon with the right nature an everstone and bred it. The new baby Pokemon did not have the same nature nature as its parent.Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a glitch? Sorry if this is a little confusing...

Which game are you playing? There isn't a 100% chance in every game.
Says in the tags. Black and White. :3

Well firstly, only click the button once and once only since you have made two duplicate questions. Just saying. x)

As for your question, I think this only occurs in Black 2 and White 2 according to what I read:

>In Black 2 and White 2 the odds of passing down the Nature of the parent holding an Everstone is now 100%. If both parents are holding an Everstone, the odds are 50/50 between each of the parents' Natures.

According to your tags you are playing those games' predecessors, Black and White. It's only 50% in those games. So, my answer is it's a 50% chance it will happen.

Okay, hope I helped. :)
