Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break / Power Construct
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Glare
- Coil
- Thousand Arrows / Earthquake
- Rock Slide

This Zygarde can work for single or double battles. Glare works hand in hand with Rock Slide, ensuring Zygarde will outspeed for a flinch chance combined with a paralysis chance. Coil also benefits Rock Slide, raising it's accuracy while also buffing Zygarde's attack and defense. Thousand Arrows is good STAB damage that won't hit a partner in Doubles. If you are only planning to use this set in Singles, you could easily substitute Thousand Arrows with Earthquake. This set would go excellently with the improved HP, Atk, and Def of Zygarde's Complete Forme, but if your Zygarde has Aura Break, it will still be effective.

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Glare
- Coil

Thousand Arrows is the best physical move in the game. Seriously, very good coverage neutrally and super-effectively, and thanks to the added effect of being able to hit and ground floating Pokemon, Flying types are not safe switch-ins. Substitute is good when paired with Glare and Coil. It allows Zygarde to set up on bulky stallers, letting it freely set up Coil and use Glare while the foe flails uselessly using their weak attacks, if they even have any offensive moves. Coil boosts the power of Thousand Arrows and raises Defense, which only has 4 EVs invested into it. Glare to derail fast sweepers, making them sitting ducks for Zygarde and its teammates.

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 252 HP/ 208 SpD / 48 Def
Careful Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Glare / Coil
- Coil / Dragon Tail / Iron Tail

Thousand Arrows is literally the best physical move in the entire franchise because of its high Base Power, 100% accuracy, and ability to knock down Flying0types, hitting them neutrally the first turn, making switching into a million times harder than switching into Earthquake. Not to mention it gets STAB and has double the Power Points of other powerful attacks like Fire Blast and Stone Edge. Substitute gets you closer to complete form and is protection from status, allowing you to set up Coil safely and making you immune to Intimidate and Impostor in the process.

Speaking of Coil, it allows you to boost Zygarde's already beefy Attack to legendary levels, as well as its impressive defense stat, while letting you trip up any Minimize or Double Team users in Anything Goes formats. Using Coil increases the difficulty of switching in tenfold. Meanwhile you have Glare for paralysis and team support, also helping you shut down faster threats. Dragon Tail is STAB and lets you phaze, while Iron Tail has its accuracy fixed by Coil and slams Xerneas.

Gen 8 RU

Zygarde-10% @ Lum Berry / Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Extreme Speed
- Outrage / Subsitute

Dragon Dance raises your attack and speed. Thousand Arrows is STAB that grounds flying types. Extreme Speed is for a priority attacking move. Outrage is STAB, but locks you in, so be careful of fairy types. You could run Substitute instead to help protect yourself from status moves.

Gen 8 2v2 Doubles

Zygarde @ Choice Band
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Extreme Speed
- Scale Shot
- Rock Slide

Should be pretty self explanatory. Thousand Arrows is STAB and can hit levitating and flying Pokemon. Extreme Speed is for priority. Scale Shot is STAB that can hit multiple times and boost your speed. Rock Slide is for coverage and can be used if you need to hit both opposing Pokemon in one turn.

A good moveset for your Zygarde If you want it to be offensive is this

Zygarde @Focus Sash
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 132 Atk / 126 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Core Enforcer
- Dragon Dance
- Iron Tail

The strategy is simple: send Zygarde in, it will survive with Focus Sash If opponent tries to OHKO. Once your HP is enough to activate Power Construct until then just do Dragon Dance. Its SpA is enough to kill anything which is Dragon-type with Core Enforcer then just start your sweep :) This is a strategy I have used myself and it's really good.

dragon dance boosts attack and not special attack, where have you used it, the nature's messed up, the move's are messed up and tbh the whole set needs updates.

[Gen 8] Anything Goes
Zygarde
Zygarde @ Life Orb
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Outrage / Rest
- Stone Edge / Crunch

Zygarde is, arguably the second top offensive threat in the tier alongside Kyogre (sorry Zacian-C you're way too predictable). It has a multiple of options to choose around and no single Pokemon is able to counter all of its sets at once. Bulky Substitute Dragon Dance with Dragon Tail can win games when the opponent relies on Ferrothorn or Ho-Oh to check Zygarde, or even Toxic Substitute set which can surprise Lunala, Xerneas, etc. and give them a painful death.

However, Zygarde-C can become as threatening as Mega-Rayquaza, mowing teams with Life Orb boosted Dynamax moves rather fast-paced instead of a "slow death". The remove of Arceus formes, such as Arceus-Ground, Fairy and Water is really helpful towards this set. Max Quake's effect of boosting your SpD means that it can easily beat even Xerneas and Kyogre against which it would have a tough time otherwise. LO Zyg-C can always get a Dragon Dance on passive stuff like Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, Blissey, etc. and either force the opponent to Dynamax or claim 2-3 kills at a minimum.

Life Orb turns many 2HKOes and 3HKOes into OHKOes and 2HKOes. Maximum Atk invest ensure highest amount of damage dealt, while the 24 HP minimize Life Orb recoil. Dragon Dance not only boosts your average attack, but also increases the quite middling speed tier.

Thousand Arrows is one of the best, if not best Ground-type moves as you can Flying-types. Outrage can KO other Zygarde, while Stone Edge has the merit of OHKOing Fast Yveltal at +1, or any Yveltal set with Dynamax as well as dealing with Ho-Oh. Rest is better with Aromatherapy support and gives you longevity to win in longer games. Crunch is a niche option, but allows you to break maximum Spe support Lunala easily with Dynamax, or maximum defense invested sets if Shadow Shield is down.

Teammates

Xerneas Ferrothorn Yveltal

Xerneas forms both a offensive and defensive core with Zygarde-C, as the latter can deal with Necrozma-DM and Ho-Oh, turning them into set-up fodders for Xerneas to clean. Meanwhile, Aromatherapy support from Xerneas can cure Zygarde's burns or poisons, and is good with Rest. It also improofs Ditto if it is locked into Outrage.

Ferrothorn meanwhile helps to deal with Kyogre, though Zygarde-C can handle it alone well. Spikes are still pretty good, as racking up chip damage softens Xerneas to the point you don't need Dynamax to break it. Yveltal can keep Calyrex-S in check, which is probably the most annoying sweeper for Zygarde-C as it can revenge kill it with Choice Scarf or other sets just force Zygarde easily.

Gen 9 National Dex Monotype Substitute + Dragon Dance (Ground)

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Glare
- Thousand Arrows

Zygarde is actually viable on Ground teams in Gen 9 NatDex Monotype, so here is a Substitute + Dragon Dance set for it. Substitute lets Zygarde take advantage of passive Pokemon, switches, and can allow Zygarde to avoid status conditions. Substitute also gives Zygarde the opportunity to use Dragon Dance to boost its attack and speed stats, which can let you clean through teams. Glare lets you cripple opposing Pokemon by paralyzing them. Thousand Arrows is used as Ground STAB since it has the ability to damage Pokemon such as the Rotom forms, Corviknight, Air Balloon Heatran, Celesteela, and the Lati twins, which ruins their hopes and dreams.

252 Attack EVs are used to help Zygarde hit as hard as possible. 92 Speed EVs are used with Jolly Nature to allow Zygarde to outspeed non-Choice Scarf Iron Bundle and Barraskewda outside of rain after a Dragon Dance boost. The leftover EVs are used in HP to give Zygarde some bulk. Leftovers is used as the item to give Zygarde some HP recovery, which is useful since this set has Substitute.

Gen 9 National Dex Monotype Substitute + Coil (Ground)

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 192 HP / 168 Atk / 148 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Coil
- Glare
- Thousand Arrows

A Substitute + Coil set for Ground teams in Gen 9 NatDex Monotype. While I'm aware that themodernage already posted a moveset like this, this set has a different nature as well as a different EV spread. This set is also used for Zygarde without Power Construct, as Complete Forme Zygarde is banned from Gen 9 NatDex Monotype.

Substitute allows you to setup on passive Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and also lets you dodge status conditions such as burns, sleep, and poisoning. Coil is used to raise your attack and defensive stats to boost your offensive and defensive presence. Glare is used to slow down faster Pokemon, which can help you setup Coil. Thousand Arrows is used as the Ground STAB since it allows you to hit Flying-types, Air Balloon Heatran and Gholdengo, Rotom Wash, Rotom Heat, Latios/Mega Latios, and Latias/Mega Latias.

148 Speed EVs allow you to outspeed Breloom and Mega Swampert outside of rain. Being able to outspeed Breloom lets Zygarde use Substitute to dodge a Spore from Breloom. 192 HP EVs puts Zygarde's total HP 405, which allows it to make 101 HP Substitutes that prevent Seismic Toss and Night Shade from immediately breaking your Sub. The rest of the EVs are used in attack along with Adamant Nature to help Zygarde hit hard with Thousand Arrows.

I use a Dragonite set JUST like this:

Zygarde @ Binding Band / Grip Claw
Ability: Power Construct / Aura Break
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA
Naughty Nature
- Bind
- Haze
- Superpower
- Draco Meteor

Basically, negate your stat drops from Superpower and Draco Meteor with Haze while hurting and trapping in the opponent with Bind.
