Using a Kee Berry could be more useful than Leftovers against physical attackers (Calm Mind and a high Special Defense stat should be enough to weather any special attacks.). Aromatherapy allows you to set up Calm Mind boosts while also not fearing status (except Sleep, of course). Moonblast is a great STAB move, with nothing being immune to Fairy type moves. Lastly, Wish provides much needed healing, as well as making Florges an even better team supporter. Leftovers are another option for Florges.

Sorry, I meant Protect so you can let Wish activate. Although, I guess if you fear status problems keeping Aromatherapy would be fine.

Relaxed isn't very good. It won't cause too much trouble, as Florges isn't inherently fast, and it even reduces damage received from Gyro Ball a little. However, you miss out on outspeeding several walls, and you want an attack-lowering nature to reduce confusion damage somewhat. A Calm nature, on the other hand, works fine.

Since Florges is currently unbanned from NUBL, here is an updated Choice Specs set since unlike when Florges was around before it got banned, Pokemon such as Copperajah, Bronzong, Coalossal, and Salazzle are in the tier. Moonblast is Florges' strongest STAB move, hitting very hard due to Florges' good Special Attack and the boost from Choice Specs. Psychic allows Florges to hit Poison-types such as Salazzle, Qwilfish, and Toxicroak super effectively. Tera Blast Ground allows Florges to hit Pokemon who resist Moonblast such as Coalossal, Copperajah, Klefki, and Magneton. Trick lets Florges cripple defensive checks such as Bronzong and Chansey. Modest Nature is used to give Florges as much breaking power as possible. Tera Ground is used to give Florges the Ability to break past Steel- and Fire-types with Tera Blast.

Really wish this thing was Fairy/Grass. Moonblast is powerful STAB. HP Ground covers your Steel and Poison weaknesses, plus Fire, which Fairy and Grass aren't super effective against. Pick one of the 3 Grass moves as coverage. I'd personally go with Energy Ball, since Grass Knot is only useful against heavy Pokémon and although Petal Dance is powerful, you'll be locked into no matter what, so your opponent could easily switch out to a Pokémon with Sap Sipper which could end up screwing you badly. Psychic is for hitting Poison-types with an Air Balloon.

Wish is for recovery and can be used to heal your team. Protect is to gain HP back from Leftovers and to protect yourself while waiting for your Wish support. Moonblast is STAB and is there mainly to take care of Dragon types since Florges is immune to Dragon type moves since it is a Fairy type. Finally Aromatherapy is to heal yourself and your teammates of any status problems.

There are alternative moves I could have given Florges, such as Psychic to take care of Poison types or Toxic to badly poison opponents. However, I was unable to fit Psychic into my moveset. The reason I decided not to use Toxic however is because your two weaknesses are Poison and Steel types both of which are immune to Toxic so your opponent can simply anticipate your move and switch in to a Poison or Steel type to resist it.

Wish for restoring HP. Misty Terrain for extra power for a Moonblast boost. Aromatherapy for healing any status condition and Moonblast for attacking, or Dazzling Gleam for an Double or Triple Battle to hit all the opponent's Pokemon.

Taking a look at Florges' stats, base 112 Special Attack and its famous 154 Special Defense make it a great AV candidate with its typing. While its movepool is rather shallow, you can already get a nice amount of coverage with what it has as only the Ferrothorn family would resist. This also has a pretty large surprise factor too.

Calm Mind is used to boost its Special Attack and Special Defence to great levels.
Moonblast is STAB and hurts Dragon, Dark and Fighting types.
Psychic hurts Poison types after a few boosts. Hidden Power Ground can be used over Psychic to still hurt Poison types as well as the Fire and Steel types that resist Moonblast as well as hurting Rock and Electric types.
Synthesis is a new toy that Florges received through the ORAS Move Tutors and heals health its health instantly. Wish can be used to also store health but after two turns.

It is best to use this Florges with something that has Heal Bell or Aromatherapy, like Blissey.

Florges is a beautiful Pokemon, and one of the premier Fairy types from Gen 6. This particular Florges set takes advantage of some of the new mechanics that came with Gen 6. Using a combination of Misty Terrain and Grassy Terrain, you change the effect of what Nature Power will do; if the area is Grassy, you use Energy Ball. This can be useful for taking out Water, Rock, and Ground types that want to deal physical damage to Florges. If the area is Misty, you use Florges' signature Moonblast, which will be her STAB attack as well as deal great damage to those weak to the Fairy force. Each one of these moves receives a 50% base power up from their respective Terrain, as well as providing support for your team. Grassy Terrain will heal 1/16th of grounded Pokemon's HP, while Misty Terrain creates an area where status conditions are nullified. Wish is a great utility move that will keep Florges healthy while she sets up Terrains. You could also run Calm Mind in place of Wish, but I prefer the latter for the support it can provide for the team.

This is a great set that makes use of two of the best options for Florges to attack with, as well as providing a max benefit for your team. However, as with any moveset, it has it's drawbacks. Fire types, Taunt, and standard Fairy weakness can scare this Florges out, but when all of Florges checks and counters have been dealt with, you'll have quite the utility with this set.

Moonblast is STAB. Hidden Power [Ground] deals with most Steel and Poison types. Calm Mind boosts your Special Attack and Special Defense. Synthesis is for instant HP recovery. It would be best to take out any Steel and Poison types who take neutral or no damage from Hidden Power [Ground] before sending it out.

This set is pretty much a classic Florges set. Moonblast is powerful STAB with 95 bp. Petal dance is high power in case it needs to OHKO. For the healing move, wish is more reliable seeing that it will heal half of the maximum hp no doubt. However Giga drain is slightly better because it deals damage along with healing and it could do more than half of the maximum hp, depending on the opponent. Oh, and wish also takes 2 turns when the latter takes 1.

Actually, a lot of players would prefer Wish because not only does it restore half of the maximum hp (like you said), you can also switch out and allow an injured teammate to receive the Wish instead. Giga Drain isn't as reliable because the amount of damage healed would vary and would need set-up before it becomes more reliable.

This isn't a "classic" set, actually, as Call_me_Joey, Wish is almost mandatory on Florges. Petal Dance is kinda a weird move, it puts the Florges in an awkward spot.

Florges is one of the Pokemon that have dropped to NU, so I'd thought I'd post a couple of Florges sets. This one is a physically defensive Calm Mind set, which allows Florges to become a dangerous wincon. Calm Mind boosts Florges' Special Attack and Special Defense, allowing it to have more offensive presence while being able to take special attacks more easily. Moonblast is used as Florges' strongest Fairy STAB. Psychic allows Florges to deal super effective damage to Poison-types such as Qwilfish and Muk. Stored Power can be used instead to take advantage of the Calm Mind boosts Florges gets. Synthesis is used to give Florges instant HP recovery. Wish and Protect can be used over Psychic and Synthesis if you prefer a mono attacking Calm Mind set. Tera Poison allows Florges to become immune to Toxic and flip the matchup vs Muk since Tera Poison allows Florges to blank Poison Jab and Drain Punch, moves Muk usually uses. Tera Grass can be used to allow Florges to utilize Flower Veil to allow Florges to become immune to status moves. Tera Steel can be used for a nice defensive typing that gets rid of Florges' poison weakness.

This a Choice Specs set Florges can use in Gen 9 NU. Choice Specs gives Florges nice breaking power. Moonblast is used as Florges' strongest Fairy STAB. Psychic allows Florges to deal super effective damage to Poison-types like Qwilfish and Muk. Trick allows Florges to cripple Pokemon such as Chansey by giving them your Choice Specs to lock them into one move. Draining Kiss is honestly a filler move that gives Florges a Fairy STAB that restores some HP. Tera Fairy is used to boost the power of Moonblast as well as making Draining Kiss's power go up from 50 BP to 60 BP and give it a x2 STAB boost.

A Choice Scarf Florges set if you feel like using one in Gen 9 NU. Moonblast is Florges' strongest STAB move. Psychic allows Florges to hit Poison-types such as Qwilfish and Salazzle super effectively. Trick allows Florges to cripple checks such as Copperajah, Chansey, Bronzong, and Coalossal. The last slot is honestly just a filler move. Energy Ball can hit Pokemon such as Bruxish, Piloswine, and Palossand super effectively. Endeavor is an option as a cool tech to wear down checks switching in should Florges not have a lot of HP left.

Copycat, while seeming like a useless move on a Scarf set, has some cool interactions. If you make some plays like switching into a Scald from Goodra, Copycat can allow Florges to hit Pokemon such as Coalossal or Salazzle switching in. It can also be used to potentially use a Fire move to hit Steel-types. Pairing it with a slow Volt Switch Pokemon such as Vikavolt can allow Florges to copy the Volt Switch to let it switch out against its checks while dealing chip damage to them. Overall, Copycat has fun endless possibilities. Tera Fairy is used to boost the power of Moonblast.

Tera Blast Ground allows Florges to have a move to hit Coalossal, Salazzle, Copperajah, Qwilfish, and Klefki super effectively. Synthesis allows Florges to have reliable HP recovery. I chose Florges-Orange for the set to match the Tera Ground aesthetic. Leftovers gives Florges some passive HP recovery.

The EV spread and nature depends on wheter you want a bulky Calm Mind or Offensive Calm Mind Tera Ground set. If you want a bulky set, use 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA with a Bold Nature. If you want an offensive set, use 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe with a Timid Nature.

You're probably thinking that Chilling Water is a useless move. However, with Water as the Tera Type, Chilling Water's power goes from 50 to 60, making it a decently useable attack that also lowers the attack of opposing Pokemon. Chilling Water lowering the attack of opposing Pokemon makes it harder for physical attackers such as Scyther, Glastrier, Copperajah, and Bruxish to wear it down. Synthesis allows Florges to have reliable HP recovery. The EV spread and Nature allows Florges to have as much physical bulk as possible since it has Calm Mind to boost its Special Attack and Special Defense stats. Florges-Blue is used since it matches this set having Chilling Water.
