Ways to delete a move in hg?

How do you delete a move in heartgold before blackthorn? I really need to get my quilava to learn strength but I don't want it to know two hm moves. I know you can put them in the daycare and put the hm as their first move, but are there any other ways?

Sorry there aren't any other ways. You may want to catch a different Pokemon that can learn strength that way this won't ruin your moveset for Quilava.
