Was the cloning glitch fixed?

Ever since the new update me and my friend have been trying to clone and it never works. Has it been fixed?

See here that the cloning glitch has not been moved to "only version 1.2", meaning it hasn't been fixed. Someone on a certain GameFaq thread also said they successfully cloned a Pokémon. The timing for cloning has to be precise, so it does rely on some luck, and it may take several tries before cloning is successful.
