Why isnt Cobalion coming back?

Okay so I discovered Pathless Plain and like an idiot I forgot to save and then made him faint. I defeated the E4 again and I returned to Pathless Plain but he's still not there. Why?

Legendaries respawn after beating the Elite Four (re-beating if you already have).

ALSO, Coballion can only be caught on monday, fridays & sundays...
