When are we getting Pokemon Bank for generation 7?

Question

Wanting to know when Bank will be compatible with Sun&Moon to allow for transferring of the Pokémon.

Comments

I heard somewhere that we would be able to transfer our R/B/Y Virtual Console Pokemon to Sun and Moon, so I'm assuming that Pokemon Bank will be compatible with Gen 7.

Pokemon Bank's compatibility with Pokemon Sun & Moon was released on the 24th of January 2017.
