Quick Ball SOS effectiveness?

So, quick balls only work great at the start of a battle. So, what would happen if a Pokemon were to call another Pokemon, and I tried to catch the new ally in a quick ball? Would it still have an increased catch rate?

Im not 100% sure, but I'd say no. I believe the quick ball's effectiveness relies on turns taken, so even though the newly called Pokemon might be just called in turn, say 10, it still was called in at the end of the 10th turn because moves were made before-hand. Not sure if I explained that right, but thats my understanding of it ^^

Even then Quick Ball is still useless - you can't catch the ally Pokemon on the first turn it appears because you have to KO the other Pokemon first.
