Pyukumuku @ Leftovers

Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 Def, 252 Sp. Def, 4 HP
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
Moves:

  • Toxic
  • Soak
  • Recover
  • Baton Pass/Curse/Counter

Pyukumuku is an extremely interesting Pokemon as it gets no directly damaging moves, but actually has a fairly wide array of status moves (unlike Wobbuffet). Its main gimmick is being able to Toxic stall Poison and Steel types. To do this, use Soak to turn them into a Water type, and then they can be poisoned using Toxic. Recover lets you Toxic stall indefinitely. This set has also been designed to stop setup sweepers in their tracks. The ability Unaware means that it doesn't matter how many boosts they have, they still won't do extra damage. You can then use Haze to get rid of those boosts to help the rest of your party. Haze can be replaced for any of the other moves it gets, like Baton Pass or Curse. Even Counter can work here.

Pyukumuku is also a Taunt fodder since it gets no physical or special moves.
why no one use its signature move?
Recover is better than Purify.
oh...that why...
it doesn’t learn haze....

Pyukumuku @ Leftovers
Ability: Innards Out
Evs: 252 SpD / 252 Hp / 4 Def
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)

  • Toxic
  • Soak
  • Curse
  • Recover

Explanation: Pyukumuku is a Staller with a nice Niche. I choose Innards Out as the ability over Unaware because it's just in case you Encounter a Mon that has Chip Away, Sacred Sword or Darkest Lariat but Unaware can work too. Leftovers are for longevity. Toxic Badly Poisons your foe. Soak turns the Steel types that wall this Set into Water type so Toxic can have effect. Curse boosts Attack and Defense but also lowers Speed. Recover restores its Hp in a Pinch.

I find it interesting that nobody posted the Psych Up - Baton Pass set yet, it's been on YouTube for a while and I think it's brilliant, hilarious and very gimmicky.

Pyukumuku

Pyukumuku @ Normalium Z / Leftovers

Ability: Unaware
Nature: Careful (-Sp Att, +Sp Def)
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Sp Def

  • Psych Up
  • Baton Pass
  • Recover
  • Swagger/Toxic

With Unaware, Pyukumuku can be set up on and it wouldn't even affect it. With those monstrous defenses and access to Recover, it will not faint easily. Psych Up is to steal all of the stat boosts the opponent has given themselves, and Baton Pass gives those boosts to somebody else on your team. Swagger is perfect for this set, and the added effect of confusion is definitely nice. This way, all four moves are normal type, meaning that the Z crystal can be used on any of the moves, depending on which added effect is needed. Z Baton Pass, Z Recover and Z Swagger all reset the user's lowered stats and keep boosts intact while Z Psych Up restores health. Alternatively, Swagger can be replaced with Toxic, to poison stall with Recover.

Strenghts
Ideal to wall most set-up sweepers in general.
This EV investment lets it survive a couple of Energy Balls from Manaphy.
Weaknesses
Taunt users in general render Pyukumuku useless.
Poison also hurts it unfortunately.

Pyukumuku @ Leppa Berry
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spite
- Recover
- Recycle
- Block

Evil set. Literal definition of pp stalling. This puts Gothitelle to shame. I wrote a long answer to rant about Pyuku and talked about checks and counters but f*** that cause I swiped back accidentally. 10 mins wasted.....
Anyways condensing it, Taunt, Toxic and moves that insta kill it murders this set. Toxic can be countered with Rest but imo Recover > Rest.
Unaware helps with setuppers with insta kill potential.
Magic bounce helps a bit against pyuku but not really.

I hope pyuku does not get banned to ubers. Gotta use it in OU. Does this violate endless battle clause? Not sure cuz I learnt this set from someone I fought in OU

Pyukumuku @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Innards Out
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 158 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 SpA
- Soak
- Toxic
- Recover
- Counter

Counter is it's only way of attacking, and it's super useful if the opponent uses a strong attack, and it will almost always work, since it's so slow.

Gen 8 ZU
Pyukumuku
Pyukumuku @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 108 Def / 152 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Block
- Spite
- Recover

This set can be quite annoying if this set is used on a Pokemon that isn't a steel, poison, or Pokémon that carry super-effective moves or pivot moves. Toxic is to lower the opponent's HP. Block is to block the Pokemon you plan on using Toxic on. Spite is to PP stall once your opponent is trapped and is poisoned. Recover is to recover your HP.

Pyukumuku @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 Def/252 SpD/4 HP
Nature: Sassy/Relaxed

-Toxic
-Recover
-Taunt
-Counter

A rather good wall if I say so myself. Toxic to put a timer on the opponents life. Recover to reheal the minimal damage they do to you. Taunt them, then waste them with your Counter!

Pyukumuku sprite

Pyukumuku @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Unaware
252 Def / 252 SpD / 4 HP
Impish
- Protect / Substitute
- Toxic
- Recover
- Taunt

I love Toxic stalling Pokemon, and Pyukumuku is one of the best. Simply Toxic, then use Protect or Substitute and Recover as needed. Taunt forces them to attack you, in which case they'll take Rocky Helmet damage as well.

Pyukumuku @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 Defense, 252 sp. Defense, 4 HP
Nature: Careful(-sp. Attack +sp. Defense)
Moves:

Baton pass
Curse
Recover
Soak

Pyukumuku is a staller with extremely high defense and sp. Defense. You can use the careful nature to increase sp. Defense while continuously using curse. Eventually, when you are happy with your attack and defense boosts you can baton pass to a sceptile with unburden and adamant nature with white herb and just sweep.

Nature and Ability matters. Add that please. Also you still have 4 EVs left.
Y not use eviolite
Because Pyukumuku has no evolution so there's no point.
And... What!? No damaging move to make it worthy?? *Stares*
as long as you are using this in a double battle with a pokemon with damaging move Good moveset.
