In Pokemon Refresh, how quickly do Pokemon lose affection after not opening up Refresh?

This question is a follow-up of that question. Please don't question my curiosity.

It is impossible for the affection stat to decrease by any means except trading it to another trainer (with which it has to reestablish a bond), or quitting the game when you had increases in affection that were more recent than your last saving of the game.

Because one of the two mentioned things happened, or else the affection didn't actually decrease after all. It's possible for the middle row of Poke Bean shapes or the bottom row of music note shapes to decay over time, but the top row of hearts, once obtained, will never decay on their own.
