I’m 90% sure this is allowed because Fizz said Pokémon Quest questions were allowed, and so are in-game team questions.

Someone with high health and rest is almost always a must. Nothing like keeping one pokemon alive against a boss while the others revive.

Machamp

Attach a sharing stone and give it bulk up and your party are attacking monsters

Mewtwo
Cause he is Mewtwo

Zapdos

Its not good to to have 2 psychic types so Zapdos will cover Machamp's flying type weakness

I'm sorry if you dont include legendaries but you didn't say we couldn't

You probably have to include movesets though.
I was expecting this to be a thread, but since it isn’t, if nobody else answers this in a week, I’ll BA you. :)
Just because there aren't multiple answers doesn't mean both that there won't be in the future and that it's not a thread. You probably shouldn't BA at all.
I would answer, but I don't play Pokémon Quest.

Alakazam

(Long-range)

  • Psychic
    • Wait Less Stone/Whack-Whack Stone
    • Wait Less Stone
    • Wait Less Stone

Alakazam is the main damage dealer and the rest of the team is there to support its survival. Psychic is one of the best moves in the game, since it's both ranged and very high in base power.
The ideal Alakazam would have it as its only move so you can attach 3 move stones, but it's still great even with just 2 or 1 stones. Since it takes a while to recharge, I recommend Wait Less Stones; a Whack-Whack Stone can also be good, just try to be careful about timing since this is your best attack and you don't want to waste it by missing.

Ideally, Alakazam should use your best ATK stones.

Dodrio

(Close-range)

  • Drill Peck
    • Whack-Whack Stone
  • Growl
    • Stay Strong Stone

As the only close-range attacker, Dodrio's main role is to try to block enemies so Alakazam can stay healthy. Drill Peck forcibly shoves enemies away to create distance, and Growl reduces the damage they deal.

Use a mix of HP and ATK stones.

Onix

(Long-range)

  • Harden
    • Sharing Stone
    • Sharing Stone
    • Sharing Stone

Onix is a support role with two jobs: use Harden with Sharing Stones to pass defensive boosts to the others, and try to survive if the rest of your team has fainted so they can have a chance to respawn. It won't do a lot of damage but it can keep you in the game for a lot longer.

Focus on using your best HP stones. Stones with healing properties are also good here, even if they're a bit underpowered, since Onix just needs to live.
