How is Pokemon Yellow abbreviated?

Not sure if this question is allowed or not, but since we already have Pokemon Y, how do you abbreviate Pokemon Yellow?

I'm pretty sure everyone (who speaks English) just calls it Y, but only in the context of Generation 1. I think the only games with no common 1-letter abbreviations are FRLG, HGSS, ORAS, and Pt because there was already a P in the same generation.

I would say that almost everywhere that you will see Pokémon Yellow abbreviated into Pokémon Y, it'll be colored yellow.
