Is Heliolisk viable in the Battle Tree?

Question

To go with Metagross in Super Singles:

Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Ivs: 0 SpA
- Bullet Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake

Should I use it? Is it viable as a special sweeper?

Use Tapu Koko instead, and use a Flying type/Levitate Pokemon as your third so things like Choice Scarf Pinsir don't sweep you :P

Probably not. Heliolisk is outclassed by other electric type special attackers like Tapu Koko, Raikou, Thundurus-T, and some Rotom forms. Tapu Koko is faster and has Electric terrain to make up for inferior special attack, Raikou has better stats and access to Calm Mind, Thundurus-T has better special attack, typing, and ability as well as access to Nasty Plot, and Rotom has Levitate to eliminate its ground weakness and better dual typings than Electric-Normal.

It's also pretty badly outclassed by Kangaskhan and therian Thundurus.

Oops I forgot about Thundurus-T. But he specified special attacker and he already has a mega, so I didn't recommend Mega Kangaskhan.
