If you have a good competitive moveset for Clefable, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

Clefable Pokédex and learnset for reference.

A simple Set, for a simple and cute Pokémon like Clefable :3

Clefable Cute (M) @ Lefttovers or Blunder Policy
EVs: (252 HP, 124 Def And 124 SpD) or if you are using Blunder Policy (252 HP, A number of Speed EVs to pass the Pokémon you want And the rest put it on the defenses)
Nature: Modest or Timid
IVs: 0 Atk
Ability: Magic Guard

  • Sing
  • Cosmic Power
  • Moonlight
  • Metronome or any movement of your choice

The idea of the set is simple, use Sing to put your Pokémon to sleep, if the attack misses, and you have Blunder Policy, Clefable has doubled Speed, and if it hits, you put the Pokémon to sleep, while the Pokémon is sleeping, you use Cosmic Power to increase its defenses and you can use Moonlight to heal yourself, the idea of the set is to become so tanky, that the enemy can't do almost any damage to you, and to finish you will need some attack to kill it, which can be Metronome (simply because I like this attack :3) or some other of your choice.

Um. Metronome isn't a good move. Luck-based moves aren't good competitively. Also, if this set gets taunted, it's over.

Why on earth would you want an offensive Clefable with no boosting moves? And a mixed clefable at that?
Yeah. The EVs suck too. Your damaging moves would do nothing because of its mediocre attack stats.
METEOR MASH? WHAT
No no. This set is genius. You'll catch your lower ladder opponents off guard ecks dee
Beastmaster yes that was the idea
