I’m just asking cause I have Pokémon alpha sapphire and Pokémon sun versions and the game is packed with max level legendary and awesome moves and what not I’d like to not loose in upcoming games and such anyone have any idea of what I can do or what they plan to do to make this possible?

There is nothing to plan. Except for IF you COULD transfer to the Switch, it'll probably cost money. So you should save some cash.

It is impossible to send Pokémon from SM/USUM or earlier games (excluding Pokémon GO) to Let’s Go.

Pokemon can be transferred from Pokemon Bank into Pokemon Home, and from Home into Sword and Shield if the Pokemon is obtainable in the game, (plus a few mythicals.) 664 of the 898 Pokemon are available in Sword and Shield.

The question is how. Possibly a new enhanced version of Pokémon Bank will be released for the Nintendo Switch, and transferring would go from the Bank account on a 3DS to a Bank account on Switch, and then from the Switch Bank to SW/SH. There could be limitations set, one box at a time, requiring the Gen 7 "white seal", etc, but I can see it happening. Please, please, GF, don't do what you did in Gen 3 again...

Yes, but not to eevee/pikachu. It is possible to send them to sword/shield, but not all of your Pokemon. You can only trade Pokemon to sword/shield if they are available in sword/shield. You have to get Pokemon Bank to put them in Pokemon Home. After that, you need to get Pokemon Home wich comes out in the beginning of 2020. This is all we know, and Pokemon will give more information about this troughout the year. Hope I helped :)

Let's Go Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu will not be able to transfer Pokemon from US/UM to Pokemon Sword/Shield.
Either way, most of the Pokemon you were saying you'd trade (Max Level Legends [only mewtwo and mew]) wouldn't exist in the game.

For Sword and Shield:

You said you didn't want to lose them. Unfortunately, a lot of Pokemon will be lost due to pokedex cuts.

HOWEVER, and the reason why I made this answer is because of this, you CAN TRADE using Pokemon Home, an app on Mobile Devices:

  • 300 Pokemon that are in the dex that are in previous games
  • Pokemon with moves not in the game (it'll recommend for you to delete them but you can keep them)
  • 35 Pokemon not in the dex: Kanto/Alolan starters and Legends

There MIGHT be a patch but the information revealed was a bit hazy.

Home Allows:

  • Storing any Pokemon, even those not in sword and shield, although you
    can't put them in it.
  • Trading Pokemon from home to home/game (you can evolve, say, a machoke into a machamp by doing this)
  • Bringing up Pokemon, all the way from Ruby and Sapphire and EVEN Go/Let's Go

So yeah, don't fret.
