Don’t know.Im still new to hacking Switch games.
I don’t think they do. The only balls you can get in Let’s go are the Pokéball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, and Premier Ball. Also, Cherish Balls can’t be obtained through normal gameplay. They’re only for event Pokémon.
The question is if they exist. They do. You can’t use them in game unless you are using an event Pokémon that just happens to come in a cherish ball..
I think serebii says they don’t exist within the let’s go games at all. Correct me if I’m wrong though, the chart on serebii is a little confusing to me (https://www.serebii.net/itemdex/cherishball.shtml)
They do. Look up event Pikachu and Eevee on Serebii events( where I get all my event info from). They have Cherish ball.
This serebii link shows all event Pokémon from LGPE coming in cherish balls
https://serebii.net/letsgopikachueevee/serialcode.shtml
I linked a video in my answer to a YouTube video that shows a guy redeeming the shiny event Pokémon (I even said they are shiny, so I’m not wrong).
Oh okay! Sorry I misread the chart
For the record falsebenguy's answer was fine but hidden for now due to profanity and basic etiquette.

Yes, they do exist within the game coding (and like previous games, are reserved for event Pokémon only).

Infact, the Shiny Pikachu/ Shiny Eevee(Depending on your game) in a event from a while ago comes in a cherish ball.

I even found serebii and bulbapedia sources to confirm this.

https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Korean_region_serial_code_event_Pokémon_distributions_in_Generation_VII#Pikachu Scroll down to Shiny Pikachu. From game “E” Eevee.

https://www.serebii.net/events/dex/025.shtml Look at the most recent event Shiny Pikachu from LGPE. On its discription it shows what ball it comes in on the upper left corner.

https://www.serebii.net/events/dex/133.shtml Most recent Shiny eevee( if you want to argue it’s Shiny, I changed it to “shiny” on all my mentions of the LGPE event Shiny Pikachu/Shiny Eevee). It has a Cherish ball on its top left corner, showing it’s given in a cherish ball.

Check for the latest Shiny Eevee event in let’s go Pikachu. It’s obviously in a cherish ball. https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_American_region_serial_code_event_Pokémon_distributions_in_Generation_VII#Eevee

I don’t care the bulbapedia link for Prhe Shiny Pikachu is Korean Region, the other links prove cherish balls exist in American versions too.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aGnTXekscjI Minute 6 to 7 shows an eevee. Look closely at its discription it’s in a cherish ball it’s visible.

This is fine.
Can you tell it to the other person?
And why couldn’t they edit it?
I should say: this is fine, minus the paragraph-long rant and chain of comments about the post being removed. You should ask him directly if that doesn't suffice as an explanation.
Also, could we please direct conversation about mod decisions to our walls instead of this public space? This is beginning to shift the thread off-course.
To answer your question: yes, I will hide your entire answer if you dedicate a portion of it to expressly insulting me, or any other person on the site deliberately, for any reason. Whether the answer is good or not is irrelavent.

But yes @ Fizz's comment. I posted on your wall several times in regards to my decision to clarify, and if you have issues I'm more than happy to respond to it.
So what was wrong with my original answer?
First one? Lack of evidence; vague claims you found something in the code and your friend’s experience, with no other proof is not sufficient. You made no reference to previous events or evidence of any sort, simply your friends anecdotal experience and “something exists but I can’t prove it”.

Second one; changing nothing and reposting with blatant disregard for auth decision.

This one provides proper sourcing and evidence. It also avoids your vague unsourced code/hacking claim.

Anything else I won’t be responding to unless it’s on my wall, this is off-topic now.
