Gen 8 RU:

Obstagoon @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hone Claws
- Facade
- Gunk Shot
- Cross Chop / Close Combat

Hone Claws is to raise your attack and accuracy. Facade is STAB and gets double power because of Guts. Gunk Shot can deal with fairy types and can hit ridicously hard. Cross Chop has a high critical hit rate and has better accuracy once you get off a Hone Claws. You can use Close Combat instead of Cross Chop for more power.

Obstagoon @ Choice Band
Ability: Defiant / Guts
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
- Gunk Shot / Ice Punch / Double-Edge
- Parting Shot / Switcheroo

Ability is more personal preference here. Defiant & Guts are both really good Abilities, and being Banded means you could really have either, meaning the opponent will have to either guess which it is or find out the hard way.

Imagine if this is in a double battle, and you burn banded obstagoon
hes sweeping the entire team unless something outspeeds him and hits hard, or burn stalls.
If there are burn stalls, you can just have Guts as his ability, with Choice Band.

Obstagoon @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Facade
- Obstruct
- Knock Off / Assurance / Night Slash / Payback
- Fire / Ice / Thunder Punch / Gunk Shot / Close Combat / Trick / Bulk Up

Facade is a must.
Start with Obstruct and you will be burned, then start attacking. Good because of it's 4x weakness to Fighting, the opponent will likely use a physical (contact) move to try to KO.
Knock Off / Assurance / Night Slash / Payback is your choice of Dark STAB.
The elemental punches and Gunk Shot are coverage. Close Combat is for raw power, as Obstagoon will likely not last long. Use Bulk Up on a predicted switch because of Obstruct's Defense lowering. Trick is for burning the opponent.

Good moveset, but there are a few special fighting type moves which would probably OHKO obstagoon.

Obstagoon @ Wide Lens / Anything
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Double Edge
- Throat Chop
- Obstruct
- Gunk Shot

Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Double Edge: STAB, Reckless increases power
- Throat Chop: STAB
- Obstruct: Most Fighting type moves are contact moves, so it will lower defense, and will keep Obatagoon Safe!
- Gunk Shot: Fairy Coverage

Now, Obstagoon is my favorite SwSh Pokémon, and I designed a moveset just for it. The ability is Guts, which raises attack when inflicted with a status condition. That is what the Flame Orb is for.
Now, the EVs in attack and speed is to make this a killer. The 52 Hp is to help it survive the Flame Orb longer. The Jolly or Adamant nature is to increase speed and attack, your choice on which one.
Obstruct is to avoid a deadly attack or to buy time. Knock Off is a great move to have, and you should almost never pass in having it on a Pokémon. Throat Chop is the highest damaging dark type move Obstagoon can learn, and it gets a STAB bonus. And the final move is really whatever you want it to be, it doesn’t really matter. But I do suggest going with whatever is there. Double Edge is a good move, and it gets a STAB bonus, Close Combat and Gunk Shot have coverage and are powerful, and the same for the 3 punches, just a little weaker.

Obstagoon @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Obstruct
- Knock Off
- Trick / Gunk Shot / Close Combat
- Facade

Obstruct activates Guts while protecting Obstagoon along with a chance of lowering the opponent's defense. Knock Off removes the opponent's item so you can give it the Flame Orb with Trick. Gunk Shot or Close Combat can be used as well. Facade is the main attacking move which gets to hit with double power because of the burn.

Bulk up is honestly better than trick because only mawile and lucario resist its dual stabs
Facade does get doubled, but you forgot that a burn half's the attack. You can use a toxic orb and do the same thing.
Other than that, this is a great Moveset!
Burns don't halve the Attack of Pokemon with Guts.

Obstagoon @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Facade
- Bulk Up
- Taunt / Obstruct / Close Combat

Standard moveset for Guts + Flame Orb + Facade abuse because 140 BP STAB Guts boosted is really good paired with Bulk Up to further increase it's Defense and Attack to abnormal levels. It's a terror so use it and have fun. Oh yeah, Obstruct to cripple physical contact like Ferrothorn. Taunt is to stop recovery from Milotic, Hippowdon, and Corviknight. Close Combat is to help against Steel-types

Obstagoon @ Leftovers
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Double-Edge
- Bulk Up
- Obstruct

This is a set that I’ve been having a lot of luck with online. Even if you can only set up one Bulk Up, Obstagoon will get really scary really fast. Double-Edge is an incredibly powerful move, especially with Reckless and STAB, and Knock Off is an excellent way to punish ghosts trying to avoid Double-Edge, or to just cripple any potential item-reliant strategies. Obstruct is a very valuable tool to allow for Obstagoon to heal with Leftovers, with an added bonus of potentially lowering your opponent’s defense, allowing you to probably KO next turn, or force your opponent to switch.

Choice Scarf

Obstagoon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
- Facade
- Parting Shot / Trick

Choice Scarf Obstagoon catches a lot of things off guard. Knock Off is strong Dark type STAB, Close Combat is coverage, Facade is still an okay STAB move at 70 base power and can get stronger when switched in to a Will-O-Wisp, and Parting Shot can be used for free pivoting, or Trick to mess up more defensive teams.

Obstagoon @ Normal Gem
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Obstruct
- Parting Shot (Egg move)
- Double-Edge
- Thief

Double-Edge with STAB+ Reckless + Normal Gem deals enough to OHKO a Pokemon. Normal Gem disappears after one use, which is the perfect opportunity to steal the item of your opponent's next Pokemon in line. Moreover you can hold off dynamax Pokemon or Trick Room plays with Obstruct. If possible try to weaken your opponent with Obstruct, then use Parting Shot to finish of your opponent as you preserve Obstagoon for another Pokemon.

Obstagoon @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Obstruct
- Knock Off / Throat Chop
- Swords Dance / Trick / Switcheroo
- Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunder Punch

Obstruct is very good for if you give the opposing Pokemon Truant from Entrainment from Durant. Knock Off / Throat Chop is STAB damage needed for Psychic and Ghost Pokemon. Swords Dance if you want to build up your attack. Or Trick and Switcheroo if you want to switch your item if you use a Trace ability on the opponent. The elemental punches are good for coverage damage against other mixed types.

This doesn't really make sense. It's a guts set, but no flame orb or facade. You have switcheroo with leftovers. Swords dance isn't very good considering the attack you get from guts

Obstagoon @ Black Glasses / Flame Orb
Ability: Guts / Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Night Slash / Throat Chop
- Obstruct
- Shadow Claw
- Headbutt / Double-Edge

This is a physical Obstagoon. Night Slash/Throat Chop is here for boosted STAB with the Black Glasses, taking advantage of the wonderful 90 base attack (I would prefer to use Throat Chop). Obstruct is here for protecting Obstagoon against many physical attacks. Shadow Claw is for Fighting-coverage. Headbutt/Double-Edge is for Normal STAB, with less recoil from Reckless if you go with Double-Edge. You could choose to use the Flame Orb to take advantage of Guts, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm doing a lot of gen I Pokemon movesets recently, now it's time to compesate doing a set for my favorite gen VIII mon: OBSTAGOON!!!
Obstagoon
GEN VIII
Obstagoon @ Sitrus berry
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Double-Edge
- Throat Chop / Night Slash / Lash Out
- Obstruct
- Fire Punch

STAB Reckless Double-Edge can do serious damage, the recoil is the reason why I gave it the Sitrus Berry.
Throat Chop, Night Slash and Lash Out are good Dark STAB moves, the choice is yours.
Obstruct is it's signature move and can shut down most phisical attackers, especially in a double battle.
Fire Punch is for coverage against Bug-types, because the poor thing doesn't have a coverage move against Fighting-types :(

Obstagoon @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Impish Nature
- Facade
- Obstruct
- Body Press
- Throat Chop/Night Slash/Parting Shot

(STAB) Facade + Flame Orb + Guts is an Avengers-level combination

Obstruct is great to setup the burn and the Goon's signature move

Body Press to take advantage of his 101 base Def

(STAB) Throat Chop/Night Slash for some good Dark-type STAB options. Parting Shot if you want to try something a little different
