Have Megas returned in the Crown Tundra?

Question

Metagross and Salamence would make a nice addition to my competitive team. Please don't spoil anything else for me. I haven't even travelled to the Crown Tundra yet since I have school today and my switch doesn't have that much battery, so the game won't update.

Gamefreak did say that Megas weren't returning in Pokemon SwSh, but dataminers apparently found all the Mega Stones and the Red/Blue Orb in the game after the Isle Of Armor released....

The DLC isn’t out yet, but probably not. There are around a hundred key items in the code of every game (including SwSh) that haven’t been used since Gen 4 or 5. It’s more that GF doesn’t like removing items rather than that they’re planning to use them.

I don't think so, because swsh already has D-maxes and G-maxes, having Megas too will be too overpowered.

No megas are sadly not back but dyna and gigantamax is still here so you could also use that for competitive
