Say Lucario uses Swords Dance. Does the +Atk last forever, or just until the battle ends?

by
You gotta be someone who hasn't played pokemon at all to ask this question.
Beginners may have several doubts, this later helps them to be a good player! Then, why kidding like this?
Remember, the expert in everything was once a beginner.
Note: Even if you switch out and send it again, its stats would get reset.
@A typical glance

a). that's a little rude, but whatever
b). I am not a beginner, I just don't know that's all
c). this could also help beginners who don't know

It only lasts until the Pokemon faints or is switched out. Think about how ridiculously powerful it would be otherwise. What if that Lucario used three Swords Dances on an opponent that posed no threat, then the battle ended? It would be easy to steamroll the game past that.

Hope I helped!

like...

(looks at magikarp that just hatched out of an egg)
For instance, it went up against a level 3 Bidoof, set up Swords Dance, then OHKOed it. If the stat boosts were retained, it could slaughter most anything easily.

Just until the battle ends.
All positive and negative stat changes are temporary.
