Can you evolve sliggoo in a city that’s raining?

I have a level 49 sliggoo and I’m planning on using a rare candy in a town that’s raining will it work?

As per my Experience and Bulbapedia, Sliggoo will evolve wherever it is raining in the overworld, whether you level it up in a battle or use a Rare Candy. Remember, Sliggoo will NOT evolve if you trigger rain by using Drizzle or Rain Dance (Ash had a special Sliggoo, I guess). So well, your Sliggoo will evolve
