Can I see a Pokemon from the DLC in my Pokedex if I don't have the DLC?

Question

So I was doing some surprise trading when I was given a Pokemon from the Isle of Armor, however I do not own the expansion pack.. How do I check it in the Pokedex?

You get a Pokédex expansion after exiting the train to the DLC location, so you can’t view the Pokémon’s Pokédex entry without the DLC.

You get a separate Pokédex when you first enter the Isle of Armor/the Crown Tundra and the new Pokémon are found in there. The Pokémon you have can only be seen in the new Pokédex so until you get the DLC you cannot see the Pokémon in the Pokédex.
