Ground VS Flying!? Weird right? Yes but still both are very good Pokemon in White 2, so now I can't choose one to have in my playthrough.

Should I choose:

Braviary (M)
Ability: Defiant
- Superpower
- Brave Bird
- Shadow Claw
- Roost

OR

Excadrill
Ability: Sand Rush
- Drill Run
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Hone Claws

Excadrill is very good and Defiant Braviary is just awesome, so make it clear with a moveset and justify your answer.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you should use both Excadrill and Braviary and not use Lucario. You don't need 3 steel Pokemon on one team, and I think Excadrill is better than Lucario.

I'd go Braviary all the way. Here's why
1. You don't have a Flying Type, which I think is really useful for in-game, since it's a good typing and you don't have to swap out a Pokemon at the nearest center in order to use Fly, which is really convienient. Plus you can find it on an interation on Mondays at Route 4, starting at the decent level of 25, unless your super far in-game, your not gonna find a better way and it has a really good stats, better defences and SP Attack than Excadrill. Plus, in finding an Excadrill, you have to find a Dusty Spot that just happens to be right, which could take forever. Excadrill does have better typing, but Braviary is just way better and more convieniantly suited for your team, for example, all of it's weaknesses are covered by your other members, whereas with Excadrill that's not the case.)

Moveset:

Braviary@anything, possibly Sharp Beak or other attack boosting Items.
Ability: Defiant
-Return
-Brave Bird
-Fly
-Roost

I read the suggestions and followed them, and Fly is pretty strong, STAB, and is a super useful HM to have on one of your party members instead of having to try and find an HM slave like I said above, plus it's Flying STAB that doesn't have recoil.

As for Moves for your other Team Members:

Samurott's fourth Move: I'd either recommend having a stronger Water Move, such as Hydro Pump at 62, or Hydro Cannon, the Water Starter Move, or, if you wanna have a more Diverse typed Movepool, Dragon Tail as a TM.

Haxorus's Fourth Move:
You already have good stab, so I'd suggest an Ice Coverage Move, in case Arcanine is out, or at low HP, while still being strong, such as Brick Break.

I’d like to add that you can find a defiant level 25 Braviary on route 4, right before Elesa’s gym. It’s only on Monday I believe, but you can change your DS’s clock.
@ Primal yes so only I wanted to have one and Superpower triggers it
In that case, I think return is better than shadow claw because a neutrally effective STAB return does more damage than a super effective shadow claw.
Also defiant activates only when an opponent lowers a stat, so superpower will not activate it.
I was just copying what RED Charizard X Said in the question, I assumed that's the moveset that would work well. Sorry, also, I didn't know that Braviary had Defiant. I'll fix it.
I fixed my answer.

As sumwun said I feel its better to have both Excadrill and Braviary by removing Lucario from the team. And he mentioned that Return will be better on Braviary and superpower will not activate Defiant. I agree with his suggestion.
And as Primordial Sea said Defiant Braviary is avialable every Monday on Route 4.

Also finding a Drilbur was easy and Yes I got myself one.

Samurott
Ability: Torrent
- Surf
- Megahorn
- Ice Beam
- Knock Off

As I'm running a mixed set some suggested to have Knock Off as an additional coverage move and to counter Ghost and Psychic Elite 4so I have it.

Arcanine
Ability: Intimidate
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Extreme Speed
- Crunch

This set seems to be solid Physical one and reliable

Magnezone
Ability: Sturdy
- Flash Cannon
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Tri Attack

Sturdy can withstand any move and can deal more damage.
I replaced Volt Switch over Signal Beam to get a good STAB and can swicth in by dealing damage.

Haxorus
Ability: Mold Breaker
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Brick Break

As Mimikyu Shadow said brick Break really suits Haxorus to use

Braviary (M)
Ability: Defiant
- Return
- Brave Bird
- U-Turn
- Roost

U-Turn deals good amount of damage and can Switch out easily and it looks better than Shadow Claw

Excadrill
Ability: Sand Rush
- Earthequake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Hone Claws

I thought of having Swords Dance but Hone Claws is my decision as it makes Drill Run and Rock Slide accurate

Have Hydro pump instead of Knock off as it is not very useful coz you have dark type moves on Arcanine.
Why do you use drill run when earthquake more powerful and more accurate than drill run?
I Thought EQ was a TM move and now I Corrected it
Even if it was a TM move, you can use every TM unlimited times in gen 5, so I think there's no good reason to not use them.
Also now that both of Excadrill's STAB moves are 100% accurate, do you still think hone claws is better than swords dance?

On my opinion. Excadrill is better, if you need a moveset, I can come up with one
