I am trying to make a team around this core:
Tyranitar @ Leftovers/weakness policy/air ballon
Ability: Sand Stream
Level: 50
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Atk / 20 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Thunder Wave/Stealth Rock
- Lash Out
- Rock Blast
Thunder wave and stealth rock are support, I'm probably going to go for TW though. Lash Out is good dark STAB. Rock Blast is to break focus sashes. Earthquake can be spammed.
Togekiss @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Serene Grace
Level: 50
EVs: 244 HP / 12 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Follow Me
- Life Dew or some other healing move. I have no idea :P
- Heat Wave/Magical Leaf
Heat Wave is for steels, but magical leaf can be good for waters. Follow me is because Togekiss resists almost all of Tyranitar's weaknesses, plus it has a double resistance to fighting. Air slash is for flinching. I need a healing move.
The basic idea is that Togekiss absorbs moves while Tyranitar paralyzes opponnents, then spams earthquake.
Things I need help with:
-Landorus-therian
-Steel types
-healing move for Togekiss, if necessary
-Tyranitar's item? I'm leaning towards air balloon, but leftovers is my second choice.
-Tyranitars's EVs.
I am NOT asking for a team. I am only asking for advice on how to improve this core. If this should go in RMT, then please tell me.
