By online battles, what exactly do you mean? Are you talking about a tier of Smogon Singles , battle spot or what? If it's smogon singles, Quag is an important part of stall teams in uu and very rarely used in ou.

If you ask questions like "Is X Pokemon worth using?", you should specify a battle format in the question itself. If you're referring to BSS Series 12, Quagsire is very much worth using.
