I have all three titans, Regice is nicknamed, and holding a casteliacone. I caught them all last year in this save, so I passed the time limit. The little girl in pacilog town keeps saying something about six dots opening three doors instead of telling me the story. I’ve exited and re-entered the room, I’ve soft reset, waited days, she won’t change her story. What am I doing wrong?

- all she says is, “Six dots open three doors”. The dialog never changes
- I’ve talked to her with all regi’s in my party
- I’ve used different ice items
- Only Regice is nicknamed
- I caught them in 2020
- My cartridge is legit
- time base events are working as normal
- I’ve waited until daytime before going to the location
- I’ve done this before I’ve beaten the E4, and after
- I have left my cartridge in the same ds for multiple days to ensure time based events were working
- I’m not willing to restart my save to see if it’s my save file or not because this is my Oak challenge save file and I have like a hundred hours and multiple full odds shinies
- I have not beaten the post-game story

2026 Update..
This question remains unresolved as to why this happened. I did check just now, and verified all My regi's have the same OT/ID. I remember catching catching them all authentically.
About 6 months ago, a friend readdressed this question with me. I changed Regice's name. We tried waiting another two days with it in a different console, in case that was the issue. I went back to all the regi caves, just to verify, and the little girl never changed her speech. I decided to make a drastic move... I used PKSM to reset the all the regi's encounter... and it worked. I recaught all the Regis, and then went and caught Regigigas without issue. And the little girl said what she was supposed to, before and after.
Now, with PKSM mentioned, I did modify my save file before Badge #1 to give myself Pokeballs, the Shiny Charm, and Surf, to make the game a bit more enjoyable during the grind. I did not modify the game any further, and not with the Regi's encounters. I highly doubt that was the cause of this occurrence, as there's been countless other people who have experienced this same thing with no resolution, and I highly doubt all of them did the same thing.
I am confident this is a bug in the code rather than user error.. what's left is for us to determine how, why, and a proper remedy. I plan to continue to investigate this, to see if I can recite the bug, and to see how each flag being modified impacts it. I also plan on datamining the flag and Regigigas encounter as soon as source code becomes available. I also do have saves backed up all the way to 2020. I might even go back to the beginning of the game and see....
