Gen 9 UU

Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Substitute

Meant to be a bulky stall guy. Leech Seed combined with Leftovers increases longevity by a lot. Giga Drain and Knock Off make it not fully passive, with Giga Drain adding on to its recovery. Ruination can be used instead of Knock Off to make it more effective at chipping hp down, however you would lose the utility of having a bulky item remover. Grass/Dark is a godawful typing, so defensive Tera Poison is chosen to negate its weaknesses, while providing a resistance to Fairy, Poison, Bug and Fighting types. The EVs make this thing a specially defensive monster along with Tablets of Ruin, while also making it physically bulky with more hp.

Stallbreaker
Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Ruination
- Leech Seed
- Protect / Substitute

This thing would be way better
if it got Recover, but at the very least it gets Leech Seed. Fairy tera removes your Bug and Fighting weaknesses and gives you immunity to Dragon. Knock Off removes the opponents item. Ruination halves the opponent's HP. Leech Seed gives you recovery and chips the opponent, and combined with HP halving from Ruination, Leech Seed chip, Protect / Substitute, you can stall really well while killing the opponent.

Gen 9 UU NASCAR Stallbreaker

Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Fairy / Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Leech Seed
- Ruination
- Protect / Substitute

A NASCAR (which means fast) stallbreaker set for Gen 9 UU. It gets Taunt, which lets Wo-Chien act as a stallbreaker. Having base 70 speed is not bad as a defensive Pokemon, which can let you use max Speed EVs to outspeed slow defensive Pokemon. Taunt lets Wo-Chien shut down defensive Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Quagsire, Blissey, and Alomomola. Leech Seed is used to give Wo-Chien some passive HP recovery. Ruination halves HP of opposing Pokemon, which works well with Taunt since it prevents defensive Pokemon from using a recovery move to negate Ruination halving their HP. Protect lets you scout opposing Pokemon and give you a free Leftovers and potentially Leech Seed recovery. Substitute can be used instead make slow defensive Pokemon have a harder time against Wo-Chien. For the Tera Type, you can use Fairy or Steel since they offer a better defensive typing than Grass/Dark at times.

Seek And Destroy

Gen 9 RU

Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison / Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Mean Look
- Giga Drain
- Substitute

- Leech Seed(Chips opponents, heals you)
- Mean Look(trap of destruction)
- Giga Drain(Chips opponents, heals you)
- Substitute(Stops Burn and Paralysis and gives a wall of defense)

If there’s an annoying Prankster Klefki, Grafaiai, or Thunderus, swap this Wo-Chien in and trap the Pokémon with Mean Look. Dark typing blocks Prankster status moves. You can then slowly destroy the Pokémon with Leech Seed, Giga Drain, and Substitute, although you may need to Tera Poison to wall Thunderus.

If your against a threatening Gardevoir or Florges, you can Mean Look and Tera Steel to turn the tides and also systematically destroy them.

, each of the Ruinous Quartet's Abilities decrease a certain one of their stats, so technically, their stats get boosted, too. Here are the schematics...

-Chien-Pao's Sword of Ruin decreases foes Defense, making it's Attack stat 175
-Wo-Chien's Tablets of Ruin decreases all Attack stats, boosting it's Defense to 155
-Ting-Lu's Vessel of Ruin decreases Sp. Atk stat, boosting it's Sp.Def to 135
-Finally, Chi-Yu's Beads of Ruin decreases opponents Sp.Def, making it's Sp.Atk 180(!)
The ruin abilities apply after levels, EVs, and natures. They don't apply directly to the base stats.
Oh, got it.

Gen 9 PU

Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
-Leech Seed
-Protect
-Knock Off
-Stun Spore

In the lower tiers, Wo-Chien functions as an all-purpose tank. It doesn't have a reliable healing move, but Leech Seed, Leftovers and Protect can provide fairly consistent healing and chip damage on opponents. Knock Off does decent chip damage and also removes the opponent's item, which is always useful. Stun Spore in the last slot can punish the opponent switching to remove leech seed, and paralysis can gain crucial free turns to set up leech seed or hit a knock off. The given EVs make it amazing at taking both physical and special hits. Poison Tera helps resist Fighting and Bug moves that Wo-Chien is normally weak to, and the psychic types that can hit it super-effectively post-terastallization will have to be careful to avoid a knock off.

Other Options:
Foul Play and Giga Drain are alternative options for the STAB attack move, if using Giga Drain, A Bold nature is preferable.
Taunt can be used in the fourth moveslot for all-purpose utility, in particular preventing opponents to heal off chip damage you deal, or stopping them from boosting up to break through.
Ruination can also be used in the fourth slot to cut the opponent's HP in half, which can help the rest of the team in breaking through.

This is my first analysis, so please tell me if I get anything wrong! All constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Underrated.

Wo-Chien @ Leftovers
Ability: Tablets of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Ruination
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Mean Look

Not many people come prepared for Mean Look, so it's really easy to trap the opponent into a slow, painful death.

If you suspect a move it's weak to incoming, terastalize and poison's got you covered, plus you can't be poisoned anymore. I've nearly swept entire teams with this monster.

Something else you can do is use Perish Song before you send Wo-Chein in and trap the opponent that way.

That almost guarantees a KO if you trap the foe because Wo-Chein takes hits like a champ, and it has Protect to give you a free turn.

If they switch out before you trap them? No problem, trap the next one that comes in and make them uncomfortable.

Things to be weary of, though:
- Some set-up or tank Pokémon can prevent the strategy from working, especially ones that have reliable recovery. (This is where Perish Song can be handy. Nudge, nudge.)
- Taunt locks you into Ruination.
- U-turn, Volt Switch, Flip Turn, etc. allow for switching out despite Mean Look.
- Grass types are immune to leech seed.

Enjoy making your opponent hate you!
