There's absolutely no reason for these to all be separate questions!

You might also want to ask what abilities don't work in Tera raids.
This should be authoritatively compiled somewhere. I'm not sure that all that information even exists in authoritative form right now, though... status moves in Tera Raids are never explained and have all sorts of exceptions and special-casing.
What's your point...? The point is to have them "authoritatively" compiled in this one thread.
What do you mean by "authoritative"? As far as I know, the only "authorities" are Nintendo employees, and I don't think they've ever helped the players research Pokemon game mechanics.
Certain attack moves don’t work either like hyper fang and endeavor.
@birdserker neither of those are status moves.
Is this question assuming the raid boss's shield is not up?

Status moves that always fail when used in Tera Raid Battles:

  • Guard Split
  • Disable
  • Encore
  • Imprison
  • Torment

Additionally, any move that causes the user to faint fails. In the case of Tar Shot, it does not fail but the effects do not take place.

The shield that is created by some Tera raid bosses at a time or damage threshold (whichever comes first) makes all non-damaging status moves that are targeted at the Tera raid boss fail. Moves such as taunt, thunder wave, and metal sound (a full list of which can be found here), will not work if the shield is up, but status moves that are not targeted at the boss, such as Nasty Plot or Agility, will not fail, assuming that they don’t have any other reason to. The Infiltrator ability cannot be used to get around this mechanic. However, the shield does not block secondary effects from damaging moves. For example, Nuzzle can be used to paralyze a shielded Pokémon and acid spray will lower special defense by two stages even if the target Pokémon is shielded.

So what moves are they, besides taunt, thunder wave, and metal sound?
@Sumwun, I asked here because I couldn’t find a list online, if it gets answered I will link it in this answer.
