[S/M/US/UM] How do you get the braided tails hairstyle?

Question

It looks really cute...I really want it, but I can't find an option for it in the Hau'oli Salon. Currently In the game I have only beaten the first Kahuna and I just proceeded to Akala. Do I have to reach a specific point in game in order to have it an option in the salon? I'm playing Sun by the way.

Since you're playing Sun, this means you can't get the Braided Tails Hairstyle. :( The Braided Tails Hairstyle is only available in the Ultra Sun/Moon Games, so if you have Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, you can get the Braided Tails Hairstyle in those games.

If you look at the list of hairstyles for the S/M/US/UM games, you'll see that Braided Tails has "USUM" next to it, meaning it is only available in Ultra Sun/Moon, not Sun/Moon. Also, if you play Ultra Sun/Moon, you won't have to reach a certain point in the game, as it isn't one of the hairstyles that gets unlocked after entering the Hall of Fame.

According to this Bulbapedia page, the braided tails hairstyle is exclusive to USUM, so unfortunately since you're playing regular Sun you can't use that style. I hope you find another style you're satisfied with though!
