If you downgrade to 1.0.0, can you use the Surf glitch to find Shaymin in BDSP?

i'm not sure if shaymin is in 1.0.0 and I forgot to get oaks parcel on another save and I wanna get both versions shiny

You can only downgrade if you have cartridge btw

According to Fizz, Shaymin's event isn't in the game in 1.0.0, so unless you have a copy with 1.1 or any of its derivatives, you will be unable to glitch your way to Shaymin.

alright 2nd question, if you do the surf glitch in 1.0.0 and go to where flower paradise would be and update the game would you be able to access it

According to this entire thread, no, it doesn't work. You can't save out of bounds. U/dabomerest says the best option is to find someone with a modded switch, install the 1.1.1 patch with hacks, and then share versions on the update screen, (a feature I forgot you could do,) then you can get to 1.1.1
