How to calculate how much the encounter rate changes with the Repel Trick?

I’m wondering on how the the repel trick would be calculated, just so I can apply it as needed. If there’s a link to a calculator, that would also be great.

I think it just prevents all encounters with lower level Pokemon and all other encounters are unaffected. So if your unmodified table is 25% level 2, 25% level 3, 25% level 4, and 25% level 5 and you use a repel with a level 4 Pokemon, then it becomes 50% level 4 and 50% level 5.

I doubt there would be a calculator considering the immense variability between possible situations

AngefloSH created a tool that calculates encounter rates, and it takes Repel into account. It has an exhaustive list of locations, options for every game up to USUM, and is very easy to use and can be downloaded here.
