He uses 8 level 68-70s, including two of which are Alpha Giratina! And because of LA's battling, you have to lose one of your Pokemon when you knock out one of his, since the party that lost their Pokemon last pretty much always moves first.

Please answer with teams that can win when not ridiculously overlevelled (from experience, they kinda have to be a bit overlevelled to stand a chance) and/or singular Pokemon that can chain kill (this can be by just surviving Volo's next attack).

Keep Luxray alive with Crunch, Wild Charge (or Thunder Fang if recoil is a concern), and Play Rough. With high Attack, Luxray will be used against Spiritomb, Togekiss, and Giratina (though Samurott can also be used here).

Use Typhlosion against both Roserade and Lucario (watch out for Agile Style Crunch).

Use Samurott on Arcanine, as Water is 4× effective.

Use a fast Garchomp with Strong Style only against Cynthia’s Garchomp if Togekiss is already down, since you'll lose a turn—but if Garchomp is the last Pokémon, there’s no risk.

For Giratina, start with Typhlosion to knock out or chip away at Altered Forme, then go all-out on Origin Forme. Remember: status effects are removed when Giratina changes form, but stat changes are retained—so use moves like Baby-Doll Eyes with Luxray or other debuff moves to weaken it. Be mindful of its moveset.

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Volo - Moves and Team Comp / AI can be found here. Good luck
The problem is that when I beat Spiritomb with Luxray, Garchomp just oneshots with strongstyle Earth Power, and the only two that have usable poison and steel moves are Garchomp and Samurott, so Togekiss sweeps through.
have you used the grit items? You can get many very easily by releasing pokemon and they increase your stats
what effort value does luxray's sp.def need to be to survive? its about lv.76
never mind, I just trained up to lv79 and took down three with garchomp
you just bring in an over leveled goodra with a steel move, a fire move, and a dragon move.
You can also use status effects and/or a tanky pokemon to stall and heal up your team
ok, i've now changed it so that its more general for anyone else with this question

Personally I trained up Cresselia to the level Giratina is at and taught it Healing Pulse and Draining Kiss and that did significant damage to Giratina. Keep some spare Ice or Fairy types just in case.

This is a team I used at lv 91 (with minor moveset changes) but it should still work very well if the lowest lv of ur team is lv 80+ and max grit on all stats except for unused attack/special attack stats:
Luxray (hard counters Volo’s Togekiss and roserade and spiritomb and can hit all but Hisuian arcanine and lucario super effectively; can use t wave on Giratina to prevent the team from getting double turned) with ice fang, play rough, thunderbolt, thunder wave
Snorlax (hard counters roserade, (Volo’s) Togekiss, Hisuian arcanine, garchomp and hits all but spiritomb supereffectively) with high horsepower, bulldoze, ice punch, crunch
Gastrodon (hard counters all but roserade and spiritomb and hits all but spiritomb supereffectively) with bulldoze (or earth power), ice beam, recover, water pulse
Infernape (the fast one that hard counters Hisuian arcanine and lucario and hits all but garchomp and spiritomb (and Togekiss if you use bulk up or calm mind over thunder punch/poison jab) supereffectively) with shadow claw, fire punch/flamethrower, drain punch/mach punch, bulk up/calm mind/thunder punch/poison jab
Togekiss (hard counters spiritomb and both Giratina formes and hits all but (Volo’s) Togekiss super effectively) with water pulse, flamethrower/mystical fire, draining kiss, Moonblast
Cressilia (hard counters roserade, garchomp (and (Volo’s) Togekiss if using charge beam or icy wind) and hits all but lucario and Hisuian arcanine super effectively) with lunar blessing, psychic, moonblast, power shift/charge beam/icy wind/ice beam/calm mind.

                                                                    ⚠️ WARNINGS/SUGGESTIONS ⚠️

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️REMEMBER TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN IT COMES TO THE TURN ORDER BAR WHEN USING STRONG STYLE BC ITS LIKE CLICKING A FREE ROBUX LINK; ITS VERY RISKY⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ABSOLUTELY NO USING 5PP MOVES OR WILD CHARGE OR MOVES UNDER 90% ACCURACY OR MOVES WITH FIXATION BC ITS LIKE CLICKING A FREE ROBUX LINK; ITS VERY RISKY⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️CRESSILIA NOR THE "POKÉMON THATS JUST FOR REVIVE SPAMMING" OR ANY OTHER POKÉMON IS EXEMPT FROM THE LEVEL REQUIREMENT OF 80 (NOT 75, NOT 68, NOT 60, DEFINITELY NOT 40 ABSOLUTELY NOT 37) AND NO, HAVING A LV 100 POKÉMON DOESN'T MEAN THAT THE REST OF THE TEAM IS EXEMPT FROM BEING APPROPRIATELY LEVELED AND ALSO NO EXEMPTIONS ABT GRIT BC THATS LIKE PUSHING THE MESS IN YOUR ROOM UNDER YOUR BED; ITS NOT THE SAME THING AS DOING THE JOB RIGHT⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️REMEMBER TO BRING LOTS OF HEALS AND TO HEALSTALL RIGHT BEFORE U KO VOLO'S LAST POKÉMON BC ITS A 6V8 GANTLENT ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️GOOD NEWS! VOLO'S TEAM COMP SUCKS DEFENSIVELY!!⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ hope this helps:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
