Level 30 togetic with hustle ability and careful nature, should I breed to reroll?

Currently in HG and have 6/8 badges. Unfortunately I only just found that my carry has the worst ability and not too good nature according to this thread.

My togetic is currently level 28 with yawn, wish, extrasensory, and fly. Should I breed it with a ditto or does anyone have a recommendation for a build.

(Tbh I haven’t had many problems with him but in the last gym he was too slow and I had to use the voltorb nuke to win)

If you breed it to get a better Nature/Ability, you would have to raise it from Level 5 to Level 30 by grinding, which would be a very slow and tedious process, and you would only get a Togetic that is marginally better than your current one. If you are just doing a casual playthrough, I wouldnt bother doing this.

You can also just stop using your Togetic. Fearow and Scyther (and technically also Gyarados) are better if you want a flying Pokemon.

Would fly be considered a throw away move on any of those 3? I regret putting it in togetic with his low accuracy and special atk focus.

Fly is one of Fearow's best moves because it's more powerful than drill peck in this game. If you don't use a Fearow, you can keep a Farfetch'd with fly and cut in your party and not use it in battle.

i vote for dropping the togetic altogether. hustle is absolute ass and is only a handicap, and HGSS is terrible for leveling up, and being so late to the game, you're looking at HOURS of grinding just to get back where you were. put fly and rock smash on togetic and carry on using the other Pokémon instead. it's better for the level grind to have fewer pokemon anyways.

if you really love togetic/kiss, it'll be fine to keep on your team.

alternatively, you could reroll and keep it and others in the daycare and grind that way idly.

If you breed your Togetic with a Ditto to get a Togepi with a better Nature or Ability, then you would have to raise the new Togepi from level 1 to level 30 by grinding, which would be extremely tedious and likely take multiple hours to do. For this reason, I don't reccomend doing this if you value your time.
What you can do instead:
1. Catch a different flying type like Gyarados, Fearow or Scyther and use it instead. They all have better offensive stats than Togetic.
a. Gyarados in particular has access to Dragon Dance and can use it to easily defeat most gym leaders and E4 members. You dont even have to grind it much to get it up to speed with your party because you can get a level 30 Gyarados at the Lake of Rage.
2. If you are not happy with Togetic's battling ability, you can teach it some HM moves like Fly and Rock Smash and keep it in your team as an HM user, or bench it.
