What happens if their leek starts to rot?

closed with the note: I always thought mons was an extremely logical and consistent game that always made heaps of sense in terms of the realism but then one day i read this one question on Pokemondb.net and it changed EVERYTHING

Guys is it normal if your leek starts to rot ????
This is the funniest question I've ever seen on pokemondb dot net
Some Pokedex entries state Farfetch'd can eat their stalks in dire situations, search for new ones, and some fight over sticks. This makes me think it's bs Pokemon logic of Pokemon with objects/multiple units being born with those objects/units (think exeggcute, kangaskhan, timburr, sinistea, possibly charcadet), but they can find new ones if they need to. Plus, there are leek items in game, so it's not absurd to think that Farfetch'd can find a new leek if they need to.

As for leek season, there's no mention of such a thing in game, but I'd like to imagine that even if there was, Farfetch'd will somehow always be able to find one.
who up leekposting
ME! I am!
The leekposting situation just got WORSE
According to video game logic, Farfetch'd are born with their leeks and they never rot.
Pokemon almost never makes sense-
leeks are not seasonal crops and can be cultivated during all times of the year in many climates in real life
