I’m stuck in cerulean city, help!

Question

Ok so I beat misty and then went past routes 24-25 to save bill and then it was the end of the road. So I go back and see the ONLY WAY OUT is to use cut on a small tree. I can use cut outside of battle apparently but I don’t have the HM.

Make sure you got the SS ann ticket from bill. Then, you go through the house north from the gym. In the house, they have been robbed, and there’s a hole. You go through the hole and head down past the daycare. Then, you go into the underground passage. This will lead you to Vermillion.

Answering my own question cause I know the answer now and it doesn’t give me the 20 points for BA
