Can you make it easier to get a specific Pokemon in Pokémon Campions by recruiting?

I want a scizor and I am going through lineup after lineup without finding one so is there a way to boost my odds?

Also should I say this is M-A? The fact that it's M-A doesn't feel wery related to the question but idk...
