Scizor @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- X-Scissor
- Roost

Send out Scizor and then use Bug Bite. (Use it if a Pokemon looks like it needs berries) This helps to take out berries that our opponent will use if they are low. The reason why I put X-Scissor because it will be my main Bug -type move after I used Bug Bite. Plus X-Scissor is a good counter for Dark Type Pokemon on your enemy team Bullet Punch is a must need for Scizor pairing it with Scizor's ability: Technician. Bullet Punch is also good for countering pesky Fairy Type Pokemon that will like to ruin your Dragon Types Pokemon day (in case in my team Noivern). Roost will be a great move because when pairing with your HP stat Scizor will be a beast in your team.

Bug Bite AND X-Scissor? If you’re going with Technician it’s ok to just use Bug Bite because not only does it gain Bug STAB, but it gets boosted as well by Technician.
Then what should i replace X-Scissor with?
Swords Dance for sure
I dont like using swords dance bcuz I need to use swords dance but my enemy can setup their team. Its always what happens to me. What do you think bout dual wingbeat?
Why Naughty nature? You should change it to Adamant nature instead, as you still get the +Atk boost, and it doesn't get into Scizor's bulk.
Somebody has told that to me ill edit it wait
With Focus Sash, you'll be able to set up Swords Dance for free. You should change the EV spread to 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe and you might want to consider using Jolly Nature, but Adamant is fine

OH NO! ITS A LIGHTMETAL SCIZOR SET

Scizor @ Silver Powder / Metal Coat
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
- X-Scissor
- Iron Head

DESCRIPTION :)
This is a moveset I came up with when I realized my only scizor had light metal, and it is hidden so of course I can't change it :< so I then came up with an idea. And boom this moveset was created!
this moveset involves making scizor faster, and since its attack is already good Jolly nature is not too shabby on it. And as for the held item boosting either steel move or bug move is not bad, and with swords dance get that attack up >>> Personally I know Light metal is not the most wanted ability on it, but if you feel like using light metal hopefully this set could be of some use ^^~~

National Dex UU

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Pursuit / Superpower / Dual Wingbeat

This is the Choice Band set Scizor uses in National Dex UU. Bullet Punch is used as a priority STAB move that is used to revenge kill weakened Pokemon such as Salamence, Nihilego, and Mega Altaria. U-Turn is Bug STAB that is good for momentum since Scizor will force switches, so being able to switch while doing chip damage is nice. Knock Off is useful for removing items from Pokemon switching in. Pursuit allows you to trap and weaken or eliminate Pokemon such as Aegislash and Slowking. Superpower can be used for coverage against Pokemon such as Bisharp and Cobalion. Dual Wingbeat is an option to deal super effective damage to Pokemon like Buzzwole and Amoonguss.

National Dex Monotype (Steel)

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 52 Atk / 144 Def / 64 Spe
Impish Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Facade
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Swords Dance + Facade is used a lure for Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mantine who try to burn it. Bullet Punch is used for priority STAB that is boosted by Technican. Roost provides Mega Scizor with recovery. 64 Speed EVs let Mega Scizor outspeed Adamant Azumarill. 248 HP and 144 Defense EVs allows Mega Scizor to check Pokemon such as Zapdos-Galar and Lopunny.

Gen 9 Monotype Swords Dance (Bug)

Scizor @ Metal Coat
Ability: Technician
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Trailblaze / Aerial Ace

A Swords Dance set for Gen 9 Monotype. Swords Dance is to boost Scizor's attack, which lets it become a potent cleaner. Bullet Punch is Scizor's spammable STAB due to it having priority and a boost from Technician. Close Combat is a move Scizor gets in Gen 9 and targets Steel-types not named Gholdengo such as Kingambit and Great Tusk. Trailblaze is a new Grass move in Gen 9 thas a BP of 50, so it gets boosted by Technician. Trailblaze lets you OHKO physically defensive Gastrodon after a Swords Dance boost and 2HKO Quagsire. Trailblaze also boosts your speed, which can be useful to outspeed Pokemon who carry priority moves. Aerial Ace, which also gets boosted by Technician, allows you to OHKO Amoonguss after a +2 attack boost from Swords Dance with Stealth Rock on the opposing team's side.

Metal Coat is used as the item to boost Scizor's Bullet Punch without having any drawbacks. 252 Attack EVs with Adamant Nature is used to let Scizor hit as hard as possible. Metal Coat is used over Life Orb because Scizor doesn't have Roost in Gen 9, meaning it can't recover HP lost from Life Orb recoil. 136 Speed EVs allow Scizor to outspeed Adamant Azumarill, allowing you to use Bullet Punch before Azumarill uses Aqua Jet. The rest of the EVs are dumped into HP for a little bulk.

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissor
- Agility / Tailwind / Double Team

Swords Dance for the Attack boost, Bullet Punch because Swords Dance + Technician + STAB = kills. X-Scissor because STAB + Swords Dance.
Agility gives you a permanent Speed boost, tailwind gives you a temporary speed boost, and Double Team raises evasion.

Expert note: he original post had 252 EVs in all of these, and that’s impossible, so I took a guess based on the moves

Scizor @ Scizorite / Metronome
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Swords Dance
- Double Team
- Vacuum Wave
- Bullet Punch

Swords Dance doubles Attack. Double Team boosts evasion. Vaccum Wave and Bullet Punch are priority while the latter is STAB.

This one is a bulky Fairy remover. Especially Gardevoir... and more.

Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician / Swarm
EVs: 128 Atk / 128 Def / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch / Iron Head (Bullet punch works better)
- Swords Dance
- Substitute / Toxic
- Roost

Azumarill is Fairy/Water type. Fairy is weak against Steel meanwhile Water resists it. In 1v1 tier you have 3 pokemon and you switch into one pokemon and you can only use that one pokemon.
Meh lets just edit Substitute/Toxic
Better. Also Adamant works for this set on Scizor. Most Fairy type pokemon is built for taking Special hits and Bullet Punch is physical so yes, Adamant works.
diancie, carbink... meh
It doesn't matter from their 4x weakness to Steel. Also from the Showdown Damage Calculator I got this: +2 128 Atk Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Diancie: 336-400 (139.4 - 165.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 20 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- U-turn / X-Scissor / Pursuit
- Roost

This thing can be very hard to take down. Unless you have a fire type that is. Sword dance + Bullet Punch is pretty good, and with it's bulk it can use a roost. For the third slot, I prefer X-Scissor

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance

Moves:
Bullet Punch - Priority, powered up by Technician.
Roost - For keeping your Scizor alive.
X-Scissor - STAB.
Swords Dance - Power up your moves by 2 stages!

Hope I helped :D

Nah I think its moveset should be:

Scizor @ Life Orb / Scizorite
Abillity: Technican
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Brick Break

Swords Dance (sweeps)
Bullet Punch (Technician + Swords Dance = so much damage)
Bug Bite (better than X-Scissor with abillity and eats berry)
Brick Break (abillity, plus lots of super effective and defeats bulky ones). Who put brick break there you need double hit for fire types:) bullet punch and bug bite allready sweep well you can use that because you can kill blisseys and snorlax and fighting is super effective on so many things but there’s strong fire type users like Charizard and why is volcano even used

Scizor @ Assault Vest
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet punch
- U-turn
- Pursuit / Bug Bite
- Brick Break / Superpower

Eheheheheh: 112+ Atk Scizor Brick Break vs. 236 HP / 0 Def Magnezone: 284-336 (162.2 - 192%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Muahahhah: 252+ SpA Choice Specs Magnezone Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 144 Sp. Def Assault Vest Scizor: 80-96 (23.2 - 27.9%) -- 72.9% chance to 4HKO

These calculations aren't correct.

112+ Atk Scizor Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Magnezone: 146-172 (42.4 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Magnezone Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 144 SpD Assault Vest Scizor: 292-348 (84.8 - 101.1%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

Your favorite Pokémon Master has arrived! Late for sure, but...I have arrived! I know the question wants competitive move sets, but it's pretty much the same for in-game PvE as well. It's Pokémon for crying out loud. Let's relax a bit, thanks.

Gen VII

Scizor (M) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe or 252 Atk / 6 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bug Bite
- Metal Claw / Iron Head / Bullet Punch
- Aerial Ace
- Agility / Swords Dance / Double Hit / Night Slash

Bug Bite - If the math is correct, Bug Bite is the best choice for a physical Scizor. After Technician and STAB, you are looking at a base power of 135 with a 100 accuracy. This means a super effective attack could land for 270! You also eat the targets berry which can be useful, though I'm not sure how often that may be. Sorry, just being realistic. I like X-Scissor for this Pokémon because I feel it's one of his signature moves, but it's base power after STAB with no Technician is only 120 with no added effect. Furry Cutter (FC) is the only move that can hit harder than Bug Bite, but FC has to be used in succession and it is extremely doubtful the fight will even last that long. Bug Bite it is.
Metal Claw/Iron Head/Bullet Punch - Okay, here is where it can get a bit technical. A LOT of players are jumping on the Bullet Punch bandwagon. Jump off before I throw you off. Smart players know what I mean. Bullet Punch is NOT a given. The choice here depends on what move you fill the last slot with. Let's start with Metal Claw. Metal Claw can be signature, yes, but after Technician and STAB, Metal Claw hits for a base power of 112 with an accuracy of 95. It may also raise your attack stat (10% chance). Iron Head hits for a base 120 after STAB with a 100 accuracy and a 30% chance to make the target flinch...not bad. It's also his hardest hitting choice. Bullet Punch hits for a base power of only 90 after Technician and STAB with an accuracy of 100, BUT is a priority +1 move, which means it may "always" go first, but in truth, this depends on the opponent.
Aerial Ace - Aerial Ace hits for a base power of 90 after Technician, not to mention, it DOES NOT MISS (except in obvious situations).
Agility/Sword Dance/Double Hit/Night Slash - Agility sharply raises the Speed stat (+2) and can pair nicely with Metal Claw. Sword Dance sharply raises the Attack stat (+2) and can pair nicely with Iron Head almost assuring a OHKO if not a 2HKO. Double Hit and Night Slash pair nicely with Bullet Punch. Double Hit is a coverage move hitting for a base power of 104 with Technician after the two hits and an accuracy of 90. Night Slash is Night Slash and can be used for added coverage.

Feel free to mix and match to experiment or use what I provided. Let me know what you Pokémon trainers think.

most people use bullet punch for revenge killing and scizor is slow . iron head maybe powerful but its no use against a faster team because almost all mons out speed it

Scizor @ Shell Bell / Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 220 HP / 36 Def / 252 SpD
Nature - Adamant (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
- Bullet Punch
- Double Hit / Aerial Ace / Bug Bite
- Brick Break / Knock Off
- Swords Dance

One of my most favorite Pokemon, I've used her (cuz every Scizor I've had is female :P) in every game I could get Scizor on and have swept a lot of teams with her.

P.S. Knock Off is ONLY FOR GEN Ⅵ ONWARDS.

The EVs are to give him/her some bulk so that him/her will not be a Glass Cannon AKA faints on a few hits/has to be Focus Sashed.

Item Explanation:
Leftovers and Shell Bell are to replace Roost as recovery.

Moveset Explanation:
- Bullet Punch - STAB + Technician boost and +1 Priority
- Double Hit/Aerial Ace/Bug Bite - All get Technician boost and two of the three aren't resisted by Fire-Types. Double Hit is to break through Substitutes, Sturdy and Focus Sash. Aerial Ace is Never-Miss while Bug Bite is STAB and Berry stealing.
- Brick Break/Knock Off - Brick Break is for Steel Types that resist the other two attacks while Knock Off is coverage and does MASSIVE Damage to Item Holding Pokémons.
- Swords Dance - The usual boosting move.

Sweeper Mega Set:

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 188 Def / 64 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Roost

Swords Dance (raises your attack up to 876, therefore you can break much teams with only technician bullet punch, also if you set 2 swords dance attack will become 1314, and if you set 3 swords dance attack will become 1752, when you will be able even to OHKO volcarona with bullet punch, which is the biggest counter for mega scizor in OU).

Bullet Punch (totally sweeper move for mega scizor, and after one swords dance in OHKO's about EVERY Pokémon which get 2x damage from steel ((or more)), after 2 swords dance any Pokémon which don't resist it, attack it can OHKO scizor's biggest fear, volcarona ((as I said before)) ).

Bug Bite (only now i've seen this, but bug bite get's a technician boost, raising it's power up to 90, making it another great wallbreaker move. even though mega scizor is not that fast, it should be able to hung a move which is not fire type, or even a fire punch coming from an electivire ((i've done this before)) and then kill it. is also a great counter to electric and water types which resist bullet punch).

Roost (heals you, you most likely will not take damage from 50% your health if the targetis not a fire type, and you won't saty on if the taget IS a fire type. since you are not a flying type Pokémon, it is just like recover. I pretty much recommend it for healing if you see you'll die, and using it for be able to hung on some moves ((insane defenses)). then just sweep your opponent with 876-1752 atk STAB technician bullet punch ((swords dance)). have you got it? if no, ok. is just for healing and support :3).

I've been swept for this innumerable times before (and swept the my opponent too :3) and it is HELLISH. seriously, there is almost no way you can kill it.

My first post! :)

I've make this moveset to make Scizor a good resistent sweeper and I use him with Archeokyogre in a rain team.

Scizor @ Life Orb/Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bug Bite
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords Dance

Ok now, why Bug Bite and not X-Scissor? I calculated in-game and on showdown: Bug Bite, with STAB and ability-boost, make more damage than X-Scissor. Furthermore, Bug Bite has a good effect too, not like X-Scissor or other STAB Bug move.

Bullet Punch is STAB and boosted by Technician, for a power of 90. Priority move.

Roost, to make durature your Scizor.

Sword Dance, I use this move the first round, and it make Scizor very dangerous. With Sword Dance boost you can defeat a lot of pokémon in a OHKO.
