What is a good moveset for Lunatone?

Lunatone @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Trick Room
- Psychic
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam

Trick Room takes advantage of low speed, som of Lunatone's teammates should also benefit from Trick Room.
Psychic is STAB.
Grass Knot finishes off pesky waters, and gives coverage.
Ice Beam is used to hit flying types hard, and nice coverage.

Err, maybe I'm wrong, but considering Lunatone weights more than the average Pokémon, Grass Knot would not be that good since it would normally have Base Power 20, I would rather take Hidden Power [Grass] over it since it has some extra power to it.

Aside from that, great set!

Gen 8 NU?

Lunatone @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Future Sight
- Moonblast / Power Gem
- Earth Power
- Moonlight

For some reason... Lunatone seems decent in NU at the moment. It can serve as a good Salazzle check. Future Sight is for psychic STAB that can help do chip damage. Moonblast allows you to deal with Guzzlord. Power Gem can be used instead for rock STAB that allows you to deal super effective damage to Xatu. Earth Power is coverage against steel types like Copperajah and Heatproof Bronzong. Moonlight is for healing. This set uses Max HP and Max Special Attack for the EV spread because Lunatone already outspeeds the Pokemon it wants to outspeed without speed investment. Stealth Rock can be used alongside Power Gem so you can be a Stealth Rock setter that can beat Xatu.

EVs: 104 HP / 252 SpA / 152 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Power Gem
- Psyshock
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish

Surprisingly good special sweeper
Power Gem- STAB, and unlike some other rock type special sweepers (uhm Omastar uhm) actually strong.
Psyshock- STAB, good against special walls.
Earth Power- gives that awesome rock ground coverage combo.
Rock Polish- gotta go fast to sweep, along with 152 EVs in speed, you outspeed Accelegor.

To use his full potential, you need to face a more bulky inclined mon, Polish up, and thanks to Lunatone's many weaknesses, you might activate your WP and start sweeping.

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Modest
EVs: 200 HP / 252 SpA / 56 Spe
- Meteor Beam
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Stealth Rock / Moonlight / Calm Mind

Meteor Beam fully charges in one turn due to Power Herb, and provides a SpA boost. Psychic is obligatory STAB. Moonblast for strong coverage. Stealth Rock is self explanatory, Moonlight recovers HP, or Calm Mind beefs up SpD and SpA.
